After the recent news of Bitcoin suspended withdrawals at Bitstamp I reckon the Bitcoin price will drop to below 550!

You have to respect that bitstamp got right in front of the problem and addressed the public. Gox was so cryptic with their news and let it get to the point where people have been left no other choice but to come up with all sorts of conspiracy theories as to what is really going on. It is much better to temporarily not be able to withdraw your coins, than lose them to some sort of attacker, or perhaps even worse...the exchange itself..
