You will need merit to move from Jr member to the next rank. Merits are given by specific people, I hope I'll get some very soon too.

Rank change from newbie to Jr.Member for the activity on the forum. Raising rank higher depends on the number of Merit. As far as I know it is.

Am a Junior member and i have been working very hard that one day am gonna move to the next level (Member) at my 60th activities but instead, even with my 71 activities my rank is yet to change from a Junior member to Member. Please what am i not doing right?
You call what you are doing working hard? Because after seeing just even a glimpse of your post history it seems to me you just have waited to raise your activity by posting worthless piece of crap. Working hard means your posts are either helpful or well thought out before posting it in order to positively contribute to the forum. And other members might have agreed with my opinion towards you because up until now you haven't receive any merits from other members. Try to think before you post something because posting generic crap really isn't enough to be called working hard.

If you want to get merit, I suggest you to avoid those threads with 20+ pages and stop posting generic posts.
Good advice but i would add to that.
Try to make some tool or guide for users. This can earn you plenty of merit for example 20-50 from just one topic if its really useful.

This is my problem regarding merit because i am not good in english language which the forum required to use. I had some problems with the construction of grammar which will result to poor expressions of thoughts and ideas. Now getting merit is also difficult since it is not given freely and some of those higher ranks are hoarding merits. I hope theymos will consider his plan to decay smerits who are not given.
If you're comfortable using your own language why not post in your local board? I'm sure there are users/sources that are willing to merit posts.

Not being good in english is not your problem i've seen users (including myself) that aren't good with english and keeps on receiving merits regardless. I see most of your posts are from megathreads you have to avoid posting in those threads because no one really reads those threads. You have to change your posting habit if you want to receive merits.

Ok. I think i got this now. Probably there was a change in the rule becaused i read it at some point that onnce a new member made 30 post, such member move from newbie to Junior member and one he or she made 60 post, it will move from junior memeber to member.

You need merits to get to the next rank. Currently, I see that besides the number of your posts, you still haven't earned any.
If you want to get merit, I suggest you to avoid those threads with 20+ pages and stop posting generic posts.
