Decent Programmer to boot!
The fan of my 5750 died a while back, and I refused to break down and buy a new fan. Instead, I re purposed some old cooling bits. It is still a work in progress, and beware, because this is the most jury rigged card I've ever seen. I wanted to make this post, but haven't gotten to test the card. Stock this guy got ~80 at full load.

Current revision of the cooler:

Finally stopped being lazy and installed it. Surprisingly, the temps are really nice. This is idle, after just starting W7

Somehow idling at 55C, stock clocks. Fan speed doesn't really make a difference, since I think it is a 12V fan.

What a tiny fan -what is: 1 inch? sweet. It suggests a defiance to overheating.
I love ghetto heatsinks/fans. Any other please post pics in this thread.

This is the fan/copper getup. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835230033 Although I did other things, to assure maximum contact. The stock aluminum cooler bit is really ugly now.

EDIT: I tried mining, and it is having a hella hard time combating high temps. I need to work on something for that.
