Hello guys,

I am new to mining, and i now just exchanged old gpus for new RX580 8Gb and i just installed Nicehash miner i overclocked gpu but i get only about 0,00002 worth of btc which is equivalent of about 8MH/s and this gpu supposed to do about 30...
So Can someone tell me what should i do to have this full potencial? should i set it up somehow?

Please be kind i am newbie Tongue have a nice day!

Try lolminer for Windows, you have a simple bat file in the zip file that will automatic change to compute mode... Only put wallet and pool in this bat file.

Hi there.  the most probable reason that 580 is mining at 1/3 speed is in the Raedon settings under advanced you need to switch the card from Graphics mode to Compute mode and reboot the system and rerun the mining software.   should start lowish but then come up to speed.
After enabling the compute mode in the AMD software settings, restarting the farm is not required. It is enough to start the miner and you will see a higher hashrate.
You will only need to reboot the farm after updating the drivers for the video card.
I would recommend updating your graphics card drivers

Another newbie forgot to turn on the compute mode in the driver settings. Without this mode, the RX580 8Gb video card will give a hash rate of 8-10 megahash.

Update the drivers for your video card.

FP91G is correct. Make sure to set cards to compute mode in AMD Radeon settings if using Windows. If you have questions ask here. I would be willing to help you.

Have you been mining for a few days? Because the payout rates than vary from day to day. However you should be making almost triple so I assume your hashrate is way too slow. I haven't used Nicehash in years however if you look at your stats after running for a few hours it will display your average speed, what is this speed?

If its not 30MH/s or so then you need to mod your bios, undervolt, and set your core engine clock to 1150 and your memory clock to 2100 mhz. Then you enable compute mode and you should be all set. You sure you got an 8GB GPU? the 4GB variants only hash at like 12MH/s these days due to the growing DAG.

Also mine with your GPU but use your onboard video for display, since if you are browsing the web you will get a speed reduction and stability issues if the display is connected to the GPU and not onboard.

'The right to privacy matters'
this belongs in alt coins. I will ask mods to move it.

It is hard to answer your question since I do not know what coin you pick to point it to.

Nicehash will convert the coin into btc.

so a 580 gb card with 8gb should do over 25mh which is about 1.75 usd worth of btc or 0.0000546 BTC

this would be if the card was pointed to eth and setting were done correctly.

Once this is moved to alt coins others will chime in with more info.
