I do not know what problems you have with AMD video cards, but the 6600-6800 series are very good video cards and are cold.
Also there were no serious problems with the 5500-5700 series, the 5700 series had problems with overheating due to poor cooling from some manufacturers. But AMD does not make LHR video cards
Is non LHR GPUs that scarce because I can get them with ease in my country, I have a supplier in Dhabi UAE who always send me non LHR 3060ti and 3070s, if you want them you can get them just find a supplier that know the difference, even on china market some sellers will use tag 'non LHR and LHR' on the GPUs
In fact, this is a very big problem, because new non-LHR video cards have not been produced for about 6 months.
You need to wait for delivery, which can take up to 45 days due to the complexity of customs around the world.
The most important point is that Ethereum mining ends.
Buying non-LHR video cards for mining Ethereum classic is a dubious idea.

I had always problems with dual miners like Phoenix,Lolminer and Gminer to name a few.Once I switched to specific AMD miner like Team Red Miner and T-Rex for Nvidia cards they are running for almost one week right now without a single restart.I had always crashes before with the other miners,I received advise here in other threads that I had a bad config or to much overclock, none of which is true when using specific miners. So this thread is made to tell people with RX 6800 XT that are having problems in multi rigs with different Nvidia cards,to try to instances of miners, one for AMD and one for Nvidia, this will solve many problems, just as mine is solved after many months of only crashing every 2-3 days.

Yes they are perfectly cold like 36-40 degree temperature and near 55 Memory temp now in Winter,so they are really worth the price in this matter because the cooler they run the longer they run.

@Rickirs

Tried both,MSI and Wattman of Radeon Software, both crashed in other miners. No crashes here with MSI afterburner so far.
You got a good experience, I think that in the future you will collect mining farms from the same video cards in order to avoid problems.

As of now, Big navi based cards ie. 6xxx series have problem with PCI risers. You can get only 1 running which is only 16x pci slot, to get RISER card detected, one has to fiddle around. Second problem is their overclocking. HiveOS etc. have already implemented workaround , these can be done on any regular linux distro and are pretty stable. And yes, for me TRM did the job as I was not able to get phoenixminer , t-rex to detect AMD 6xxx cards n mixed rig (nvidia+amd).

@OP: How you are doing OC on these cards ?

I think no matter what Nvidia throw at crypto miners I will always buy their GPU for mining, AMD is just too crazy to handle at times, you set up a rig sooner you will find yourself adjusting here and there doing troubleshoots but not Nvidia rigs, they mine with no issue for months, I only get busy with my Nvidia rigs when they are dirty but AMD? They always come up with different issues

On windows disable the amd watchdog service. Enable fast memory timings. Did you try the new Team Black Miner?

I did all these with the old Team Black Miner and it did run nearly 2 days without crashing but then it started crashing really often. Will try the new Team Black Miner only if this setup I am using will crash but so far things are looking good at 5 days without a single restart, average pool hash rate near my reported hash rate so nothing to change here really unless shit start happening again.

With such problems, it is impossible to give correct advice. You need to either wait until something breaks or try different options for mining software.
Don't jump to conclusions, wait a few weeks. I also had problems with phoenix miner and the problem went away after using another miner.

AMD graphic cards are more stable for mining using HiveOS or other Linux based mining OS like SMOS and others, you won't face any issue with drivers and overclocking, I prefer using Nvidia cards on any os either windows or Linux but AMD is better with mining OS

I think that this is not correct and to reinforce my view I am posting another picture which is now 4.xx days running stable, with big overclock as Memory clock is at maximum of 2150 Mhz,the highest number for such cards. The operating system Linux surely by default is more stable than Windows but even in Windows if fine tuned correctly it can run as long as a Linux system without a restart.

Please stop writing such false information. AMD and Nvidia run good on both OS, it depends on the settings and skills - nothing more.

I have had these cards since February/early March 2021 running with different miners but all of them crashing,Phoenix miner crashing a bit less than the others but crashing. All those miners were dual ones, they could mine both with Nvidia and AMD cards simultaneously.I have asked for help in different threads during that time and all I was redirected was you have a wrong config,I was sure and now I am even more sure that I have the correct config.

What solved my problems is running Teamredminer for AMD cards and T-Rex for Nvidia cards, they are running perfectly for more than 3 days without crashing while the best I had was 2.xx days without crashing and that was when I hit some luck, mostly every 12-24 hours I had to restart my rig,now hopefully all my troubles are gonne as the stability shown is perfect this way.
