I read fairy tales a lot and it is something I do when I am free from work or in a short break, it takes my mind off so many unnecessary burdens. I always lookout for new books, so Amazon is my friend
Here is a list of my top 5 which I am currently reading.

Travel and Adventures of Well-Padded Puss book 1-3
There once was Puss, and he was not really fat, but he was kind of... Well, he called himself “not skinny”. Why Puss? For unknown reasons, he disliked cats, although he recognized them as his relatives. Puss claimed that he was a representative of a completely separate type of creature — Pusses. His friends and acquaintances did not argue with him, and they nicknamed him Well-padded Puss just to please him.

Till We Have Faces: A Myth Retold
C. S. Lewis reworks the timeless myth of Cupid and Psyche into an enduring piece of contemporary fiction in this novel about the struggle between sacred and profane love.
Set in the pre-Christian world of Glome on the outskirts of Greek civilization, it is a tale of two princesses: the beautiful Psyche, who is loved by the god of love himself, and Orual, Psyche's unattractive and embittered older sister, who loves Psyche with a destructive possessiveness. Her frustration and jealousy over Psyche's fate sets Orual on the troubled path of self-discovery.
Lewis's last work of fiction, this is often considered his best by critics.

The Seventh Bride
Young Rhea is a miller’s daughter of low birth, so she is understandably surprised when a mysterious nobleman, Lord Crevan, shows up on her doorstep and proposes marriage. Since commoners don’t turn down lords—no matter how sinister they may seem—Rhea is forced to agree to the engagement.
Lord Crevan demands that Rhea visit his remote manor before their wedding. Upon arrival, she discovers that not only was her betrothed married six times before, but his previous wives are all imprisoned in his enchanted castle. Determined not to share their same fate, Rhea asserts her desire for freedom. In answer, Lord Crevan gives Rhea a series of magical tasks to complete, with the threat “Come back before dawn, or else I’ll marry you.”
