I one thing I like about the trezor is the confirmation on the device itself of the btc address you are sending to.
as the last person said a 2 form factor is in play. ( even with a offline pc / you can still be infected with a malware or virus  and never know so even if you where to send to a address you could be open to a switch in the address before sending and you would never know till after the transaction) This on the other hand will make sure you are sending to the address that you are really sending to.

I really hope that trezor can address the things that I have said they need to work on. like the SD card , and the 10 digit pin because 9 is not enough.

if anyone likes my review please send a tip to me. I only need : 0.07628521 to make another coin Smiley so help me get to my goal

my goal : 0.07628521 BTC

hardware wallet depending of thrid party installer ... is useless.
use a simple bitcoin core wallet ... do the same thing by removal the wallet.DAT each time that you don't need.

actually there is no 2 factor security in this case. a hardware wallet is the most secure (and easiest) way to store your BTC .

My review of the trezor.

I would like to say hello to all the forum members, I thought I would write a little review of the trezor device that I just got in the mail. To start this review off let me first say I was able to get 2 other people on the forums to go in on the buy 2 get 3 deal that trezor was offering on black friday. Well after ordering I got a alert that my order was shipped and a tracking number appeared on my invoice on the site. I have to say that was pretty fast turn around from the time i ordered to the time it was shipped. So I waited in NYC for my package to come from the czech republic yes all the way from the czech republic. I think Trezor should put that on the site so people know how long the shipping time will be. FROM czech republic to NYC it took from DEC 1 to DEC 17 to get to me. I have to say i have got stuff faster from HONG KONG and CHINA most the time only 10 days to a max of 12 days. So if you are in the US and do not want to wait for the 16 days it took then get the express DHL shipping. Lets move on well after a few days or waiting and tracking the tracking info that was posted on the trezor site i got bored so i went to trezor site and say that a INVOICE was made and i could download it on my account. well when i opened it it said
TREZOR 3for2 (3 pcs)    1    57.00    57.00
Data Security Services    1    181.00    181.00
TOTAL DUE | Currency: USD    238.00

Value of goods for customs declaration: 57.00 USD

This part got me a little scared as it says $57.00 USD for customs. I was really thinking once my post was deliveryed the mailman was going to ask for a payment for the customs.
well when the package did come all i had to do was sign no custom fees where asked for so that was a good sign.

well lets get to the good stuff. my Apt phone rang and it was my doorman told me the mailman had a package I had to sign for. I went down stairs to find this small package thinking to myself how can (3) trezor be in this little package to my surprise the (3) trezor where in this little small padded envelop. went back up stairs and ripped one of the trezor out of the small box it came in. When i opened the box I find a micro usb and the trezor and (2) papers. One paper for the master seed and the other paper was a little walk threw on getting started with the trezor. Also little key chain clip holders where included in the package just not in the trezor box itself. I'm guessing they made the key chain holders after the trezor was made and the trezors where already boxed so they just threw them in the package.

Well for one the micro usb cable that is given with the trezor is just utter crap. The size of it is worthless. Anyone that is using a normal PC can not use the usb cable that is included with the device.
If you where to have a laptop then YES the cable might be fine but you will still have the same problems as if you need to look at the trezor up close like when getting your seed key or getting your pin numbers like do you really want me to break my back bending down to see a screen that is the size of my thumb and yes my hands are big so my thumb covers the screen.

I fired up mytrezor.com and ran threw the whole setup. at 1st It was a little of a pain as firefox would not want to load the plugin and allow it to run. So i switched to chrome just to see what would happened. must have been some of the settings i have in firefox not to run plugins and stuff so after messing around with firefox i was able to get it working in firefox as well.

Over all the setup of the trezor is pretty simple and only takes about 10 to 15 mins for a person that just got the device.

The one thing I would like to see asap is a offline edition of the trezor wallet yes i know beta stuff is in the works and testing now

So i got down to some work after setting the trezor up. I sent myself .01 to the 1st address in my wallet i have to say not even like 5 secs and the wallet already picked up my transaction. I then sent another .99 to the 2nd address and again the transaction showed up on my wallet almost instant. ( the tx was not instant ) the showing on the wallet was , after waiting to see the confirmations and everything i then sent .99 to the 1st adress and .01 to the 2nd address to make each address have 1.0 BTC each

I then installed my trezor lite on my android phone , I synced it and everything just like it asked me , after everything was synced my transactions popped up on screen. ( neat little app now i dont need to have my trezor with me to take payment from anyone just pull out my android )

after playing around with the trezor some more i sent another full 1.0 BTC to the 3rd address on my list. again the wallet say the payment with in a few secs.

Things the trezor needs on a revision update.
1.) micro sd card solt = use this for seed key , user would add a sd to the trezor and during the setup of the seed the seed would be placed in to a text file on the SD. User then would take SD and place it on a OFFLINE PC and save the SEED. This would make it harder for anyone to have access to the SEED. Seed key at this point then would be printed to paper or wrote down in the booklet

2.) the plugin for firefox/chrome needs to have a wipe feat. what i mean is after the trezor is unpluged from the pc all info is cleared from the machine nothing is left.
what i do is CCLEANER the machine right after unplugging the trezor. just so nothing is left in the temp to be stolen by any programs. Or if my laptop was stolen and some one was able to get in to the temp and suck info out. I ratter be 100% save then 100% not safe.

3.) the plugin does not like chrome that much. it comes back with 0.00 BTC and offline when it detects alot of times in chrome it self. / FIREFOX seems to be the best bet

4.) a MUST IS a 10 DIGIT PIN - i was surpised to see i could only use 9 and with out a # 0 this is pretty hard to think of. Please update to a 10 # based pin. and it would be great to have a #0 on the pin aswell , or if the #0 is to hard to add then just 10 number pin would be the best.

5.) a time out for the pin. It seems that if you have already entered your pin 1 time during a signing / verify it does not ask you again unless the device is unplugged and replugged back in. I think if some was was to leave it connected and walk away funds could be sent to another wallet with out entering the pin again. 60 secs later the device should re ask for the pin. how many transactions or things would u be doing during that 60 secs so i believe this is a good add on protection

i will update some more
