Wow this is amazing. I wasn't expecting all this welcome Smiley

Thank you all for the great welcome and for all the topic suggestions. Unfortunately, I haven't been able to read everything yet.

When I said that I have been visiting the forum for more than a year, it does not mean that I used to open it every day. I used to look for answers here regarding bitcoin and some other projects. Most of the time I do not have time to register on any site and is limited to reading in open forums and news sites. On the other hand, I am a permanent member of a local forum, and I have a general understanding of how things are going in public forums.

I hope you all have an enjoyable day rest.

Cheers,
JazzyJester

To be honest. I feel like OP is using ChatGPT.

It is possible, although the results are very different if you analyze the text with any AI detector. It seemed to me that the OP was somehow unique, but time will tell if I was right in the end.

To be honest. I feel like OP is using ChatGPT.

Why do you say that?
Is this referring to the text he wrote in the opening of the thread, or to other texts he has been posting?

It would be good to present elements that show the reason for your suspicions and statement, for all of us to analyze. Wink

I have been visiting BitcoinTalk for more than a year after a friend recommended it to me.

I didn’t know people still hang around for so long before creating an account. I would like to welcome you to the forum as a member.

I believe people who still lurk around bitcointalk without registering don't really visit here on almost a daily basis as we do. They may visit once, and get as informed as they wish to get and that will be all for this month. Next month they may visit once or twice.
Then if you are really engaged in the physical world with work and other things, I think you would be carried away and there is also a room for procrastination and more.

Jay welcome to the forum and be a good user of the forum. Please all that was given you to read.
We have visitors logs and that could be viewed on the forum and if you see the number of visitors to the bitcoin talk forum you will be amazed at the number, even though there is a limit to what a visitor can do but at least they could keep reading.

At first, I read for several months even though I registered the very first day I visited the forum, but it took me so long to familiarize myself with the forum and be able to comment constructively on the discussions around the forum.

So ops let me join others to congratulate you and welcome you to the forum where you get all your information about Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies.

I didn’t know people still hang around for so long before creating an account.

It is not strange to me personally, because I also visited the forum as a guest about one year before I decided to register. It may seem unusual to some, but I think that in this way a person can learn some things and not make some initial mistakes when he registers on the forum and starts writing posts. I can't say with certainty, but probably the forum is visited by a fair number of users who are not members and for some reasons of their own they are not interested in the discussion but only in getting information from others.

@JazzyJester, welcome to the forum Smiley

Yes. It's right. But after claiming that the OP has been here for a year, he can be called a power user, since a year of reading the forum should certainly affect his posts and behavior. Any mistake, even an accidental one, will look like a lie told today in the OP's first post.
To be honest, I'm also surprised by this long exposure, and one can hope that we have a real beginner who will really care about information about Bitcoin and not merits and fast promotion in rank.
Welcome OP.

You are welcome to the forum JazzyJester, I hope you follow the most important advice you get from other members on here, for example reading the rules of the forum before proceeding because as a newbie you won't be able to tell what you could do wrong, I have used other crypto forums online but believe me, bitcointalk forum differs from other crypto forums.

Avoid Plagiarism and Spamming at all costs, I believe these two are the most important that could lead to a ban if care is not taken.

If you've been around for more than a year as a guest, you should be familiar with the forum rules and modus operandi by now. It is an encouraged practice to take some time to read about the forum and acquire knowledge before registering an account when you are ready to contribute.
I would be looking forward to your contributions.

Just discovered that when an account is recently created and the user makes a post it, The user is seen as Brand New and not as a Newbie.
An account, no matter how old it is, would be 'brand new' rank until it gets at least 1 activity, at which time it would be a newbie ranked account. Majority of users fall in this rank and never make a post.
Here's an account registered since 2015, but is still brand new.

Just discovered that when an account is recently created and the user makes a post it, The user is seen as Brand New and not as a Newbie.

That's because it takes a little while before the activity of the user reflects and once it does the rank change from brand new to newbie.
And if you check your image the activity of that user is still zero so that's why nothing has happened to its rank.

p.s. please reduce the size of your image to perhaps 200 or 300.

This community is a lovely place to be part of,learning is a gradual process and you shouldn't be eager to know everything at once. If there is anything that you are confused on about bitcoin investment, feel free to ask.

Thee are so many boards of discussion here so feel free to navigate on various board and discuss on boards of your interest. This is not a place to make  money, so if this is what is in your mind, you should take that off your mind and see this forum as a place to acquire knowledge that will help you in your bitcoin journey.
