so I was just trying to input my login info to the mybitcoin claim page. I use md5 strings for most of my passwords on different sites, unique per site and long... hard to crack. anyway, my password there is a full md5 string (33 chars) but mybitcoin only recognizes 26 chars of it. It never told me about this limitation when the site was functioning properly. I found out the limit by cutting off one char every time until it finally recognized my password.

So, just so you guys know - that's why it might not recognize your password. Only use the first 26 chars.

THanks for the heads up! I got w/e was left of my bitcoins outta there!
