... they will show up eventually.

yeah, they will actually show up somewhere (probably already are there, since OP is not here anymore Sad )
it could not be lost, could be on his address, or address on which he sent, but could not be nowhere Smiley, only cost could be transaction cost if the transaction is successful

nevertheless, main take of is to try and use another wallet, if Mycelium is that slow with synchronization

i wait more that 12 hous and the btc are not in my wallet and also they are not in blockchain, and the transaction disappear from the transaction history.. i feel so sad..
It's most likely just a syncing issue with Mycelium... their servers are notoriously bad for this. There are reports every few weeks from users complaining that their wallet balance isn't correct etc... 48 hours later they are like "OK, it's finally working".

Try going to the "Transactions" tab for the account your bitcoins are supposed to be on... then click the "3 dot" menu in the top right corner... then select "Reload Account".

That will hopefully force a resync and show your correct balance etc. If not, you might just need to wait another 12+ hours... but don't worry, your coins are not "lost"... they will show up eventually.

Correction:  i send the btc when my phone did not have internet so it appears as a transaction waiting for internet conection to be send and i select the option cancel transaction,so it avoid transaction to be send and a window saying my balance is going to be correct when the syncronization with the network happen, i wait more that 12 hous and the btc are not in my wallet and also they are not in blockchain, and the transaction disappear from the transaction history.. i feel so sad..
As long as you want to send that money to that address, your currencies are safe, your coins will either return to your balance or be confirmed in the next block (if the mempool is empty and you continue to broadcast your transaction.)

If you want those coins to appear in the balance of the other address (your friend address,) go ahead and broadcast that address.

This thread is an important one as the majority of newcomers don't know that nodes make a difference here. I believe mycelium is a secure wallet for storing/handling keys but like many other wallets out there it relies on mycelium nodes. If there's any problem or issue to these nodes, people can't reliably send and broadcast txs, check their balance etc.

How I wish everyone on the network would have their own node. Smiley

Mycelium sometimes delays and sometimes they show incorrect balance same happen to me before the thing you need to check is the address that you used from mycelium and go to blockchain.com to check if your BTC is still there.

Or you can export the private key from mycelium and switch to Electrum mobile instead while keeping your phone offline to prevent mycelium to rebroadcast your old transaction again.

Hi thanks for the answer, did you try to do the cancelation without internet in your phone?
No.
Try this: go to the ACCOUNTS tab, hold the account to select it, then at the top-right 3-dot menu, select Reload account.

if i am goin to lose dose coins
Bitcoin can either be on your address, or it can confirm on the address you sent it to. Without knowing the txid, it's hard to tell what's going to happen.

Hi thanks for the answer, did you try to do the cancelation without internet in your phone? Because thats how i did it and the transaction appears as " waiting for internet conection" thats when i cancel it and then comes a window saying that my balance is going to be corrected when the synchronization of the network happen.. and also the transaction disappear from the transaction history, and also we check on block chain and there is no register of that transaction thats why i dont know what happen to the coins.. thanks for the help but i still not sure what happening, also sorry for my bad englis, if someone can tell me if i am goin to lose dose coins i will be very thankfull.

I gave it in the option that says cancel transaction to prevent it from being sent and then I got a window that said "your balance will be corrected after the next synchronization with the network "The issue is that 12 hours have already passed and the balance remains uncorrected, I don't know where these btc's are
I recently tried that option in Mycelium, and a new synchronization made the unconfirmed transaction show up again. I guess Mycelium picked it up because it's still in mempool.

it is not on the blockchain either
If you check either your sending or the receiving address on Blockchair.com, you should see what really happened to the coins.
If you want to wait for the transaction to completely disappear from mempool, it can take several days (or longer), but only if Mycelium doesn't continue broadcasting the transaction. It may confirm in the meantime, which means funds will be on the address you sent it to.

Hello, I wanted to ask for your help since I have a complicated and stressful situation, it turns out that I use the mycelium wallet application and this time I made a btc send but as my cell phone did not have internet the shipment was put on hold to be sent when the internet connection returned but then I canceled that shipment to send it again later, I gave it in the option that says cancel transaction to prevent it from being sent and then I got a window that said "your balance will be corrected after the next synchronization with the network "The issue is that 12 hours have already passed and the balance remains uncorrected, I don't know where these btc's are ,they should be in my account since they were not sent, and it is not on the blockchain either because a friend already checked that they were not there and indeed nThey were not sent but they did not return to my balance, can someone tell me what happened with that, will it be that if they are going to return them or did I lose them? I'm a little desperate
