In order not to confuse other people, you better pay attention first what makes the difference in the wallet.
Mycelium always provides information via media flow and in your case, you turn on the notification button which makes you receive information at any time from them.

Turn off Media Flow and you will no longer receive information by way of please go to settings -> personalization -> notifications.
If you want to turn on in settings -> Mycelium service.

I downloaded the Mycelium application from their official website long before the notification appeared and I made this topic. That's what I mean.
It is possible that I allow the Mycelium application to send a notification and through the media flow function every information is sent automatically.

Mycelium sort of went on a downhill for me when they started advertising scam casinos like 1xbit and scam tokens on their app with referral links. Even when they were alerted, the developers just chose to ignore and instead chose to advertise scam for money.

You should probably look for a better wallet.

I downloaded the Mycelium just now directly from their website after installing it my Mycelium upgraded to 3.16.0.16 so the latest app is currently on their direct link not yet been on playstore I guess it has still under review by Playstore for 7 days since Mycelium is under finance category.

My current version of Mycelium is 3.16.0.15 maybe the older version won't be able to receive the same notification.

The latest version is 3.16.0.16 but when updating there is two option direct download from the Mycelium website or download the wallet on Playstore. I tried the Playstore but it doesn't have the new update yet.
So maybe the direct download from Mycelium is the latest version?

I have checked it and my mycelium wallet is also version 3.16.0.16 (3160016).

Could be a scam, could be you are on an older version that is not updating for some reason.

Mycelium is a Bitcoin Wallet that can receive and send other coins like Ethereum.
This Bitcoin wallet is in my opinion a good wallet and worth recommending.

Today, I got a notification that there is an update on this wallet.
I visited the Play Store application on the Android smartphone, there was no update. What I see is that the last update was on 12 Feb 2023 regarding bug fixes.

The following shows the update notification.

Did any of you get the same notification?
