I just noticed that you're ios user of mycelium, just inform you that app too outdated and might assume was abandoned by mycelium while its android version is up to date.

Now, for suggestions, I can suggest only by what others using since I'm not an iPhone user, you can install blockstream green wallet which was former green wallet, it can be used fwith hardware wallets such nano s and trezor, while it has nice ui.

There are quite a few wallets which could be used in your apple mobiles, but if you are in a situation to store some hefty amount, I would suggest you to go for a hardware or desktop wallet and use the mobile wallets for spending minor amounts of bitcoin. BRD is one of a better iphone wallets out there but they do offer very basic features and you could go with Edge wallet, Coinomi or Green Wallet by Blockstream. Though they were not being suggested by bitcoin.org website I guess it's far more better than BRD in my point of view.

Green wallet has multisig implementation which helps you in protecting the funds along with the company servers. Moreover bitcoin devs work for blockstream and they can be far more trustworthy when development of the wallet is concerned.

Take a look at https://bitcoin.org/en/wallets/mobile/ios/. Looks like BRD or Edge are 'the best' compared to the others.

BRD is good choice they also support other coins including TUSD and BRD ERC20 token.

But try to check the official "bitcoin wallet" just search it in appstore and choose the bitcoin wallet.

It is supported on IOS.

Thanks for the replies. That’s great and certainly put my mind at ease!
I’ll wait for a while as suggested but I do have my seed words.

I didn’t realise I can use any wallet as long as I have my seed words. In that case would you recommend any particular wallet preferably to use on my iPhone X and iPad.

Just in case if you forgot the seeds backup as suggested above you can export your private key follow the guide below.

- Open Mycelium wallet
- Goto Accounts tab
- Touch the account that you currently use
- Tap the 3 dots on the top left of the screen.
- Tap the "Export accounts keys"
- Then tap Yes
- Under the public key and the private key, there is a button on the middle just slide it to the right to switch it to private key.
- Then long press or touch the middle screen it will shows your private key.
- Now copy it and paste it where you want to save it.

You can now use the private key to import it to other wallets like Electrum.
Once you import your backup you can spend or send it to other wallets.

It happens to Mycelium sometimes, and usually just waiting a bit is enough to fix it.

Do you have your seed word phrase as a backup? Is so, you can always restore your funds in another wallet. Just don't post it here, don't trust anyone who offers to help (in a private message), and don't rush things if you're not sure what to do.

Hi
I’m new to this forum and Bitcoin so I apologise in advance if these are stupid questions but I really need some help please to get hold of my Bitcoin.
Briefly
1. I purchased some Bitcoin on LocalBitCoins.com. This was no problem and received then very quickly.
2. I downloaded Mycelium wallet app onto my IPhone X and then sent the Bitcoin from LocalBitCoins.com to my wallet.
3. The transaction went fine and when I searched on TradeBlock.com I could clearly see the transaction.
PROBLEM.
4. I waited for the Bitcoin to arrive into my wallet but nothing happened! Every time I refresh the wallet I get the same message -
Can’t synchronise the account. Try again later.

I really have no idea how to resolve this. It has been impossible to get a response from Mycelium so any help here would be greatly appreciated.
