I found myetherwallet confusing as there is no login/passw. Not comfortable with it. Couldn use it.
But what can be confusing about myetherwallet, just enter a password and store your keyfile and be done with it, my ether wallet is one of the easiest sites to use that is why it is so popular and that is why hackers target it so much, this happens because most people use myetherwallet to store their tokens there while when it comes to bitcoin most choose their own wallets.

Do you think MyEtherWallet is safe ? Coz its PK feature feels unsafe to me , you could just randomly type numbers & letters (a-f , 0-9) and you'll enter a wallet ..

It's just only your feelings, but most of the user of MEW are feeling safe unto it including me, because I've been using myetherwallet for a couple of months and so far its quite good and secured. And It is really proven and tested.

For me, I do believe that MEW or known as myetherwallet was very safe, I had been using it for so many months and in that period of time I never encounter any such things which is suspicious to me anyway.

Yes, you are right because MEW is the best one to store other coins which belongs ETH smart contract. As long as you secure your private key and it is not possible to hack the coin. So it always good not to share your private key with others.

Myetherwallet is safe but the users aren't safe from the attackers and phishers and this is what we should be aware of. The fault of these hacks also lies to our carelessness, at the main and real website of myetherwallet says that we should be careful from MEW-lookalike website.
WARNING: IF YOU CLICK A LINK to MEW from EMAIL, SLACK DM, or a FORUM, YOU WILL HAVE YOUR COINS STOLEN. Do not click.
They had warned us and they are no longer accountable if something happens to our funds for not securing ourselves. MEW is now popular so hackers, phishers will target them. I still trust MEW.

MEW is a secure wallet that embodies the ERC20 token but does not require the possibility of our daompet being hacked but this is our own problem in using private keys instead of applications and servers because the server is not responsible for our private key so we have to be careful in using them

safe and not MEW it depends on us maintaining our private key and it is not easy to give private key to suspicious sites so thieves and hackers can track it may be careful and see what is related to our MEW because myetherwallet safe it depends on us who use

How many times someone will open new topic to ask is it safe to use myetherwallet?
It is safe, no one can steal your funds unless you sign in with your private key to one of the phishing sites, but that has nothing to do with MEW. Just don't click fake mew links you get from slack, email and so on, bookmark MEW and you will be fine.
What it happens is that many people have terrible surfing habits, it is like having bad eating habits sooner or later you are going to pay for those habits and the same happens when you surf the web, people are used to click everything they see and this is simply incorrect and that is why we see many threads every week of someone that lost their coins because of a mistake they made.

You have a point, however they could also do something about it, and I am talking about a simple thing such as buying a much shorter domain name such as MEWW.io or stuff like that, and redirect there any access to myetherwallet.com. From 12 to 4 characters makes it less likely for people to enter the wrong address or click on something like myetharwallet or myetherwaIlet.
That could be a solution but it is not everything people need to also do their part, shortening the URL does you no good when you have a virus in your computer or a keylogger, or a virus that redirects you to a malicious site, so people need to have specific installs on their computers that only stores their wallet and nothing else that way the risk to get your coins stolen are lower.

With all the threads that we read of this lost coins maybe by that time we're all vigilant by all these click baits. And to avoid clicking these phishing sites just bookmark the official MEW once you've used it. That's it. Having mistakes are normal as we're just humans but commiting the same mistake again it's not tolerable as you're the one whose responsible for all of it. Just a presence of mind will do here.

Myetherwallet for me is safer than any other web wallets, you have the private key and you can easily get your wallet wherever you are. I know that hardware wallets are better and they are more safe but for me what's convenient is I can have access to my wallet wherever and whenever I want to. And also I don't want to bring something on my backpack that holds a lot of money in crypto except my savings card and other financial cards that I can have an access to if there's a need.

If you want the safest wallet. I'd like to recommend you the hardware wallet such as ledger or trezor. But it's quietly expensive. If you can afford it, then you must try it rather than the other online wallet.

Randomly type something?
You think it's really that easy to get someone's private key stolen or be put over there?
That way, even Bitcoin possesses danger because there are some websites which leaked private keys of billions of addresses, but if you decide to find one with some balance in any of these, I guess you will need luck and power of light years to get one.
There are many users who are using MEW and are satisfied with the service including me, at least they are not like many other wallets that don't even give you the possession of your private key as well as don't support ERC20 tokens.

Do you think MyEtherWallet is safe ?

Yes, I've been using myetherwallet for years and I can say this is the best web wallet that I have the private keys on hold and it's really convenient to use.

Coz its PK feature feels unsafe to me , you could just randomly type numbers & letters (a-f , 0-9) and you'll enter a wallet ..

If you feel unsafe with the private key feature of it try to get yourself a ledger nano S and try to guess those words of others wallet if you can get it right.

I don't think someone can guess others private keys that way, it's very safe for me it's a good security to keep our ETH and other erc20 tokens there.

With little bit luck you might find yourself one . You can never tell . Its like lottery . 0.00000001% chance and yet someone still gets the jackpot .

PS. Im newbie yes , but im not newbie to this IT things

Wrong!
You might not be a newbie with IT things but I bet maths wasn't your best subject at school. The possibility to win the lottery are roughly
0.00000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000 1% multiplied by the number of addresses with coins in them.
Think about the lottery, where 6 numbers are drawn at random between 1 and 49; there you have one in fourteen millions chance to win.
Well, finding an Ethereum address with coins in it by entering random characters has the same  likelihood of success of winning the national lottery.. ten times in a row. Have a go.

Not sure if you are serious or not.. a-f,0-9 means it's hexadecimal characters, therefore say you wanted to guess a pk which is only 5 characters long it would already be 16x16x16x16x16 combinations, which sums up to 1048576.
If you think that's a lot.. then do you know how many combinations are there for a 64 hexadecimal characters long private key?
1.1579208921×10⁷⁷ if my math is correct, or 115792089210000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000. That's probably more than the amount of grains of sand in this planet.
Imagine how long would it take to bruteforce that.
Also you are not talking about etherdelta specifically, those private keys can be used with any ethereum wallet. But trust me, if you ask that kind of question might be not a good idea for you to use etherdelta (no offense!).
Maybe hes already trying to make his own combinations as of now and hoping that he can able to access a wallet with have some decent balance on it.Basing on your calculations it is really accurate since if you do try to make combinations you would really took forever before you can find other wallet even changing a single character would already make a new wallet.Combinations would really be lots.Tell you frankly i have tried out that way wayback before which i do made some combinations but i did realize that its impossible.

Ahhaahahah.. maybe OP is still trying to manually enter combinations.
But as I said, even if one had to procedurally bruteforce their way in through a computer program, they would have a very hard time. Say you manage to do a trillion of trillions of trillions of trillions of trillions of trillions combinations.. you'd still have 115791989210000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000 combinations to do.. 64 hexadecimal characters doesn't look threatening to the non-math-educated average Joe but is really no joke.
Having said this, if one day computers will have enough processing power to bruteforce that, then the entire blockchain concept as we know it today will need to be modified accordingly.
Perhaps with a 1024 hexadecimal characters private key? ;-)

Even though you can login the wallet by typing a private key at random I'm sure you will not find or login a wallet containing the balance in it. MyEtherWallet is very safe to use you do not have to worry about using MEW, the most important you have to be careful not to distribute PK to anyone and always check the links properly, so you avoid phishing. That way your balance will be safe there.

My ether wallet can be very safe if you know how to use it, what you are saying does not make sense, even if you could type the exact password by chance you will still need to have the keystore that you receive when you first login into your account, so not only you need the password you need a file, if a hacker is able to get both of those that is no longer the problem of my ether wallet but a problem with the way you manage your own security.

I think that every wallet used online is in threat. Unfortunately, I am using myetherwallet like you guys, but if I had the opportunity, and I could do that, I would definitely prefer not to keep what I had as an offline wallet. or as a trezor  or the ledger, I would prefer to keep  the eth and other altcoins in that way. no matter how secure the   exchanges are, every wallet that is absolutely online for us  danger in the same way.

How many wallets did you enter by typing random numbers and letters? Have you got entered a wallet loaded with balance?
This is not the way someone can enter your wallet, even if you try thousand times, you will find nothing inside because private keys are actually no so easy to compare.
Be sure not to disclose your own private keys, you are safe with myetherwallet.

MyEtherWallet is one of the safest online ETH wallet. And as for your pk thing, I think every password is in risk of that. But Myetherwallet has a really long and complex key. Most hackers would use other methods to hack your account, like phishing emails rather than try random numbers for pk!!
