Can MEWconnect account be restored from seedphase in other software if Mewconnect would disappear some day for unknown reason?

Yes it will work. I actually tried by pulling mnemonic phrase out from the MEWconnect and tried connecting with MEW online and it worked. I haven't tried with other wallets but I am sure it would work in most of them.

But if you fear that MEW at one point would disappear then just download the MEW page. There is a User Guide about downloading and running MEW offline here: https://kb.myetherwallet.com/posts/offline/using-mew-offline/

Checked root files too,but not sure what is the name of the folder so going through thousands of root folders to find the recovery seeds.

I will try to restore when I find the seeds if its stored in the root folder of my Android and will update later here.
When you created your wallet with MEWconnect have the app give you a seed phrase?

It seems that there is no other way to recover it according to their User Guide from here https://mewconnect.myetherwallet.com/#/user-guide

If you forget it, we cannot recover it for you. There is only one other way to recover a wallet, and we’ll get to that soon.
It means that the app still in beta version and maybe the private keys are stored directly to their server, not in your local phone storage.

So it is not safe to use if you just created your wallet from MewConnect but if you already have a private key or seed phrase from MEW you can use this app as a companion app to be safe on phishing sites.
I didn't try with my old MEW address, just created new one to see how it works. They didn't give any seeds but they updated that the private keys successfully stored in local storage so I went to see but can't find any.

I didn't say recover, just have the option to restore with seeds.

I think Myetherwallet proved us that they are trustworthy, but If you're worried about where the files are stored or being sent to, you could check the source code.

it says the private keys will be stored in this device. So I closed the app and searching for the private key folder on my mobile, but can't find where it was stored.
I guess it will not be stored in the local file manager of the app but instead it will be stored in the root folder of the app mostly it's stored in its local database, few apps use sqlite for that.

so open the app again and entered encryption password but I can't login and even didn't find any tab to click after entering the password
This is the one that bothered me, have you tried to clear data then restored using its seed?

Thank you for that,it will really help lot of people to access their MEW access more easily,I am just downloaded it and looking forward to use how it goes for the next few days.
Can you tell us if it also has compatibility with connecting hardware wallet when sending eth or erc20 tokens? I can't see any details from the playstore and the medium link they release.
As far as I noticed there is no option for that yet.

Here is my experience after used MEWconnect on Android.

When I open the app for the first time,I saw two options like create new wallet or restore old wallet from recovery seeds.I just used to create new wallet with encryption password only and after creating the NEW wallet it says the private keys will be stored in this device. So I closed the app and searching for the private key folder on my mobile, but can't find where it was stored. Then I thought these storage place will be given on the app so open the app again and entered encryption password but I can't login and even didn't find any tab to click after entering the password.

I only saw forget password option, when I entered into that it asked for recovery seeds. So I am stuck at this level.Maybe problem with my android version or the from Beta app.So I suggest you guys to make sure that you have your recovery seeds before depositing any ethereum into it.

Thank God,I didn't deposit anything.

And me who thought that Myetherwallet will eventually die since the split and the creation of MyCrypto.

I must say that I'm impressed, I think that both the app and pushing the new beta website will greatly reduce phishing attacks.
