No. You can just send everything you have to your address from the Ledger default derivation path or keep using the current one.

There is no big differences.

Hi,

i´ve got a problem when i connect my Ledger Nano S via MyEtherwallet.
The default setup is Select HD derivation path > Ledger (ETH) but all my ETH adresses are empty. And i cant see the adresse from the Ledger Live app where i sent and stored my ETH.
But if i select the setup Select HD derivation path > Jaxx, Metamask, Exodus, imToken, TREZOR (ETH) & Digital Bitbox the adresse from the Ledger Nano S is shown and the balance is correct.
So my question refer to the setup Select HD derivation path. Does it matter which setup is selected if i want to proceed to transfer ERC20 Token (Pay,VEN,...) to an empty ETH adress?
Is the Ledger (ETH) setup recommended?
Did someone else faces the same "problem"?

Regards
