Guys, when I login in to MEW I don't see the balance of the various tokens (keeps showing "loading") and I get this: Could not connect to the node. Refresh your page, try a different node (upper right corner), check your firewall settings. If custom node, check your configs.

What's the problem? I never had to change the node...

I tried it myself just now and

It's working. Though I had to refresh for about 4 - 5 times just so it would load. At first, I also kept getting Error but I just kept on hitting the refresh button. Took about 2 - 3 minutes.

Then I tried it again, loaded longer than usual (about 1minute) but there was no longer an error message and didn't need a refresh.

Maybe once you get access to that web wallet move all you coins out of it so then next time this does happen you won't be SOL and without anyway to get access to your coins. Undecided

Can You guys try the method i have suggested here https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.18304125

and write here is it working or not, i think you can also send ETH out of your wallet without accessing myetherwallet web with the above method.

Don't know if this is the right section to post this. Is it also down on your end?

I was about to send some ICN from an exchange to my myetherwallet but found out its down after sending. Don't know if its going to be there once its up.

I checked it out and it works good for me. Maybe here's a problem with your browser or your ISP. And I've even tried to check out my wallet and tried to input my private keys and everything is fine. I don't know why you are experiencing that down. Maybe try to reset your modem and try to visit the site again.

I see error 404 also... what's happening ?
It's online now. Maybe it's a problem onyoir end of the interne or maybe a browser problem. Better check your internet and try sing a different browser. I'm not receiving the 404 error when I tried accessing it several times today.

It's nothing to be worried about though, you could always download a copy of the source code as given above and host it in your PC/server.
Yes there is nothing to worry about because their script can also run as standalone without being hosted in their servers but i think to get your transaction broadcasted their node have to be online.

Most important thing to remember while using them is to make proper backup of your generated address. I have lost few ETH during early days because i forget to make backups.

Currently, the site is back and runs for smoothly on my browser. I was expecting if it is just a short error or short maintenance.

I was sending my icn to my ether wallet and it looks my icn coin was delivered on that wallet. Don't worry with your amount and i think it safe on your etherwallet.

If you're worry about that web wallet and try to use mist wallet to keep your token in the safe place.

Everything is working fine at the moment but they indeed had some issues as they stated on their Twitter account, It looks like they were upgrading their servers or something. It's nothing to be worried about though, you could always download a copy of the source code as given above and host it in your PC/server.

I kept trying to access it and still not available. I have to login and move some tokens I have that I have kept for months. Its about to blow up so I need to send it out.
You can actually run their site on your own computer but for me site is opening without any problem. Follow the steps below to run etherwallet completely in your browser:

- Go to https://github.com/kvhnuke/etherwallet/releases/latest.
- Click on dist-vX.X.X.X.zip.
- Move zip to an airgapped computer.
- Unzip it and double-click index.html.
- MyEtherWallet.com is now running entirely on your computer.

Hope this will help you, source to this guide : https://github.com/kvhnuke/etherwallet

On my end i see 404 error, but when i check with
http://currentlydown.com/myetherwallet.com
Information is that website is up.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/HTTP_404

It looks like it is a communication with server error or there is missing some file.

Probably they will fix it soon.

Edit: It looks like now is UP Smiley

This is also what I see. It like page is not available for public but then they should have announce it.

Even if they're down you shouldn't put your transactions on hold since you have the private keys to your addresses, they  are just like bitaddress.org somehow providing the ability to generate addresses plus letting you to do transactions as well.

It's up here in my end but it loads slower than usual. Maybe just because of traffic in their network. Everything works fine tho so theres nothing to worry.
