I wrote up this one page description of the MyMindshare messaging system -- see below.

I would love to get some feedback. I am a one-person project, but I would welcome anyone who would like to get involved in this project.

Problem: Advertising
1. Advertising is a problem for consumers because it delivers little value while being intrusive and annoying.
2. It's a problem for advertisers because it is inefficient, wasteful and irritates potential customers.

Solution: MyMindshare
A commercial messaging system that creates value for BOTH consumers and advertisers.

How it works:
1. Advertisers attach cash value to their advertising message and then target their message to consumers who are most likely to value the message.
2. Consumers seek out advertising messages that are most valuable to them (information and cash) by responding to qualifying statements.

Value of MyMindshare to consumers:
1. Advertising that has information value
2. Advertising that has cash value

Value of MyMindshare to advertisers:
1. Consumers who value the information in an advertisement are more likely to be good customers.
2. Targeting ads to consumers who value the information is cost effective.
