1. Making sure the one who manage the production don't steal the bitcoin
2. Making sure customer actually receive the box, not "fake" one who works together with the one who manage the production
But if both problem can be solved, i'd support the idea and even gave few boxes to my friends
Well, people should not put nothing in the other boxes. A small amount, equal to the price of the box or more will encourage
people to buy these boxes. I mean, if you pay $20 for a box, then you might just buy something small and add it into the box
and also leave a paper wallet with instructions in the box with say, $15 or more of bitcoin on it. I think this will go viral if he/she
gets the bonus box with the huge prize. I would donate some money to such a project, if someone will do this and we can have
that Bitcoin address public.
Not bad idea, since people will think it's worth/fun since they still got something. But even better if we ensure the user to use wallet which give the private key/mnemonic seed.
Well, you could start a pilot project to see how this works with smaller amounts. There are a lot of users with a lot of positive
trust on this forum, that can volunteer to do this. You start with a couple of small boxes and you work your way up to the
bigger boxes.
Some of our hardware wallet manufacturers can also donate hardware wallets for the boxes and merchants can donate some
vouchers for their services.
There are really a lot of options if this goes viral, because a viral video with a big prize will get a LOT of views and free
advertisement for these companies on Youtube. This video got 9,962,954 views
