wow theres a university for pseudoscience
Well ,happy to see a different view . :)As we all know ,Oriental culture differ greatly from Occidental culture .Why did our ancestors can cure themselves without "science" ? Why can Chinese Medicine cure people effectively but without "science" ? In my opinion , modern science is too comprehensive to explain "Chinese Medicine" ,there are too much thing wo don't understand .

Btw, perhaps you might want to evaluate a bit more the meaning of the name you choose for your team. Nowadays the word "myth" is often used to refer an idea that is mistakenly thought to be true, or that people don't know if it's true but expect to be just made up.

Noun

myth (plural myths)

   1. A traditional story which embodies a belief regarding some fact or phenomenon of experience, and in which often the forces of nature and of the soul are personified; a sacred narrative regarding a god, a hero, the origin of the world or of a people, etc.
   2. (uncountable) such stories as a genre

Myth was the product of man's emotion and imagination, acted upon by his surroundings. (E. Clodd, Myths & Dreams (1885), 7, cited after OED)

  3. A commonly-held but false belief, a common misconception; a fictitious or imaginary person or thing; a popular conception about a real person or event which exaggerates or idealizes reality.

   4. A person or thing held in excessive or quasi-religious awe or admiration based on popular legend

Father Flanagan was legendary, his institution an American myth. (Tucson (Arizona) Citizen, 20 September 1979, 5A/3, cited after OED)

(my emphasis)

When i saw the title of this thread i thought it was gonna be a thread mocking some of the early attempts of Chinese students here on this forum; or at the very least some sort of exposé on some of the failures.

With all the posts from Chinese students... this one is actually GOOD!

I don't know that much info about traditional Chinese medicine, nor am I ill that often (well, got a bad cough at the moment).
I am however sometimes interested in health promoting properties of plants (I think that's also part of Chinese medicine, right).
Do you have something to offer in that respect? (I'm doing a PhD in plant hormones).
I must apologise for the delay in replying to you Embarrassed
Also I am sorry about this AD . Because I had not explained what special field we are studying . We specialise in clinical medicine . And the only people can help you is the guys that specialise in chinese materia medica .
