That's brutal: -20% drop in price on halving day, while most other cryptos are in green... Not the market reaction one would expect.
I guess it doesn't takes much to sink the price with daily volume of ~$100k.

1 Because it was created as an experimental project that simply didn't get much traction.
2 Because it's merge-mineable, that means:
a) miners/pools get it as an extra and are happy to dump it at whatever cost
b) average person can't afford to mine it anymore

That being said, NMC is doing better than I expected. I thought it's almost completely forgotten, but the value holds above $1 and there's even some activity on their subreddit. Perhaps there is market for vintage coins after all.

probably because ICO come and come and come every day
they unpopular anymore.
also because they not listed on popular exchange like binance or kucoin.
and forgotten by time , its a old coin, like RDD,ABY and XCP

As it was merged mined with bitcoin, I supposed that the block height was the same of BTC, and just now found out that they are completely unrelated.

i have seen this coin couple of times but never thought to invest in this coin.. pretty much low in supply and halving the block reward will cause in the hike of price i will definately purchase some coins
