Uggh, this is going to be bad news if it can find peoples social media pages etc just from looking at them. They'll be a lot of new-found stalkers and vigilantes.

Real-Time facial recognition for Google Glass demonstrated on NameTag, the first Facial Recognition app for Google Glass.

NameTag can detect a face using the Google Glass camera, send it wirelessly to a server, compare it to millions of records, and in seconds return a match complete with a name, additional photos and social media profiles.

NameTag is currently available on Glass for Beta testers, while the website and app are expected in Q1 of 2014. We also hope is that will be officially available to Google Glass users at that time.
