No, it involved scaling-up existing technology.  That, and everyone on the planet would require earmuffs.

It's sickening how little funds NASA gets. Instead of all these "country" coins people should make coins that donate a percentage to NASA or other scientific platforms that lack the funds they need.
Ooooor, the US Government could give their military funding to NASA!

Or, NASA could break off from the US Government and advertise itself as a private research institution; either they'll get the donations they need to continue operations, or they won't and people prove they don't really care that much about space.  In both cases it's win-win.

I read this information on the science news, just google it, im sure you will find it.  I think this would be a way for a people to come with ideas here, I thought maybe we should all brain storm together and win us some money.
