First of all welcome to Bitcoin-talk
My advise please don't just care about Rank its all happens according to your time spent in forum, Best thing you can do here is get all the information you need. If your concern is in Bitcoin and its price and its development you can get those details, If your concern is in Alt coin you can navigate it and there , there are exchange related posts, Up-going and progressing coins details there are off topics with several different concerns, You can get everything you need about Crypto, gain from here and start your new career in Crypto and share your knowledge here so we and some newcomers can learn from you.

Don't go after rank it will happen go for what you can gain from forum.
Good Luck and once again Welcome to Crypto World

Welcome!

You started off in the right section of the forum.

First get yourself familiar with the concepts of cryptocurrencies. A simple Google for “Bitcoin 101” should offer a lot of insight. Take some time to learn the basics before you start investing. Also have a look at te top 10 coins at https://coinmarketcap.com, have a look at the project’s websites and teams.

There are also some nice people active on YouTube. I like the videos by “The Right Trader”.

I find the threads i like the most and click on notify so i get emails when they get new replies. Than after you become bored of a thread just disable notifications. i find this is the easiest way to keep track of everything on here. Some areas like the bounties section could do with some modernizing to be honest also. I don't know why the threads that just get a reply go to the top of the que in that section  when all you really want is to see the latest topics that have been started.

Read and learn.Firstly you must increase your rank

No, no, no.  Why would his rank be of any concern to him as a newcomer here?  It might be important to shitposters and people who want to suck the life out of bitcointalk, but this guy just wants to know where to begin.  And I would suggest the Beginners & Help section and just looking around in general.  It's not hard to read, right?  What exactly are you looking for?

I suggest you read more and post less until you get the feel of the place.  Too many noobs just blab everything that comes into their minds, and it makes for a lot of cluttered topics.
