By the way, here's my votes.

West

Stephen Curry

Doncic
Lillard
Lebron James

East

I specified the names on players that have similar first name and last names in the league, and I almost put Gerald on Butler.  Grin

Hi guys, I just want to share my picks:

WEST
Lillard
Doncic
Kawhi
Lebron
Jokic

EAST
Trae Young
Harden
Durant
Giannis
Embiid

East is a bit tricky with the guards. We all know Kyrie is amazing and will put on a show but he's missed games.
I also wanted to put Beal in there but they are close to be the worst team in the East so I put Trae instead.

Some NBA superstars who oppose the yearly NBA allstar because there's no fans in attendance, which really makes sense. The NBA allstar game is for the fans to entertain. LeBron, Giannis, and Kawhi just showed their lack of enthusiasm to play in the ASG to be held at Atlanta.
With their statement it seems that the ASG this year might not be as entertaining as last year.

But here's my first 5 ASG from both conferences.

West
LeBron
Jokic
Kawhi
Steph Curry
Doncic

East
Durant
Giannis
Embid
Beal
Irving

I like your selection both West and East.

LeBron leading the west while KD for the east, though just like from your statement interest coming from those superstars are not that much as this pandemic really affecting them mentally. If only the timing was perfect if there's no pandemic this battle between East and West will really bring entertainment to all the fans.

As of today, this is the player that you wanted to see playing together as a team and I wonder if Jordan Clarkson will also be in the All-Star this season because He and the Utah Jazz has to show tremendous games to first reached 20 wins in the NBA this season. Most likely this game will be the battle between KD and LBJ also I'm really excited to watch the game where Jokic and Embiid compete with each other.
I'm also rooting for Clarkson since he's a half Pinoy and Jazz is doing a spectacular season this year. I hope even if there's no fan watching they'll push this game through because it can bring hope and it can still entertain many supporters just like on the support they are gaining on their on-going regular season. I'd like this list as well, and looking forward to see KD and Curry in one court again.

If I don't see wrong only one person said Bradley Beal here. Why are you so cruel against him? Do you think he's padding stats? He's scoring leader by far, 34.8 points per game.
It's a straight disrespect he's not even mentioned here. Wizards is a very bad team but Westbrook and Beal carried whole team this season. I think he deserves a recognition.

Well... I agree with you because he's the first player who does more than 25 points in 16 straight games after Michael Jordan reached that mark in 1988.
I searched here... Beal is the leader in offensive statistics with an average of 35 points, in addition to 4.9 rebounds and 4.7 assists.

I think, his excellent performance isn't so evident because the Washington Wizards have bad results, but Beal says he wants to stay in it and save the team. Can he do it?

Hard to say he can because the team's performance has been not improving, they already have Westbrook an MVP but the team still struggles. I believe this team needs to start rebuilding, and I don't know if the arrival of Westbrook to the team really helps.  But it's still too early to tell though, let's give them a chance and evaluate the team when the season is over.

Hello guys!

The voting window is now open for NBA All-Star Voting 2021 - We can vote for OUR All-Star starters!

Click on the pic for the VOTE link

Here we have my favourite players!

- Stephen Curry
- Kawhi Leonard
- Luka Dončić
- Lebron James
- Nicola Jovic

- James Harden
- Jaylen Brown
- Kevin Durant
- Giannis Antetokounmpo
- Joel Embiid

What are yours?

I like all of these picks except for Jalen Brown.  I would probably put Bradley Beal in here.  Dude is an absolute monster on a complete crap team.  If he was on a team like the celtics he would be a superstar.  There might be some other deserving starters maybe over Harden but the popularity contest will kick in and Harden will get his votes.

- Nicola Jovik
You have a mistake in your OP. The name is not Nicola Jovik, it's Nicola Jovic.

Considering how good the Utah Jazz are playing at the moment and they are leading the Western Conference, it would be nice to see at least one of their players on the All-Star game. Donovan and Conley have been terrific on the offensive end. I hope they get picked for the bench at least.

I agree with you, Jazz are the number 1 team right now and seeing the votes above, it's easy to tell that the team or players are pretty much underrated.

By the way, is the new all star game is not the same like the last all star? I remember it was Team Lebron vs Team Giannis.
So Curry and James rivalry has totally ended isn't it? Started when K. D. suffered from an injury, I think,
Absolutely, Warriors suck due to injury and Curry has been struggling with injuries in the past season, hopefully he will be fully healthy now, his team needs him so much, it's on his shoulder now without his splash brother.

but kinda glad that these rated players are not that much getting matched nowadays because other players seems to be forgotten. I do like seeing how new players and other names are now experiencing spotlights.

But if I would be choosing line-ups for this year's All-star, I think it would be :

West: LeBron, Zion, Curry, Kawhi, A. C
East: Durant, Irving, Westbrook, Giannis, Embiid

Guess this would be exciting.

Westbrook?? ohhh.. I almost forgot, but if we will put him in the starting line up, I think he will messed up the line up, lol.. why? because he might compete with Durant.  Smiley

I can’t imagine Zion’s sponsors would let him do the dunk contest. Seems like a LeBron type situation. Can’t risk their billion dollar investment getting hurt doing crazy dunks. Would love to see him though.

Aaron Gordon’s under the legs over the mascot dunk was the greatest dunk in dunk contest history. He was robbed twice, yes, the second time being Dwayne Wade’s fault that led to Gordon making a diss song about him. LOL
That's the only hindrance for him to get into the contest (those lousy sponsors) seems they really wouldn't let him do it. Isn't Zion been into Slam Dunk Contests when he wasn't yet in the NBA and I think he's still capable of doing those powered dunks. I pity LeBron but he's just the superstar that I think that hasn't been into the dunk contest, Kobe and MJ get into that and they got won, well right now he's not capable of that maybe when he's still in his 20s or sophomore season that would do.

By the way here's the latest news about the Slam Dunk contest prospect this coming March. Check this link: https://www.ca.nba.com/amp/news/nba-all-star-game-2021-who-should-be-in-the-dunk-contest. Zion is on that list but as you said I think that still wouldn't but many, including me, love to see him as one of the contestants.

Mostly I just want to see the slam dunk competition.  Although it is sad that Aaron Gordon won't be competing anymore.
The guy was robbed 2 times with those amazing dunks he showed too sad there will not anymore for a third time. What I want to see right now on the dunk contest if he's healthy is Zion Williamson I don't know what he'll gonna do but I think he's awesome to watch powering that rim.

I don't think they will go back to the old way.
They might use the settings last year where captains will be choosing.

As for my votes in NBA.com
Here is my list.

1. Jokic
2. Leonard
3. James
4. Curry
5. Doncic or Oladipo

1. Trae
2. Kyrie
3. Jerami Grant
4. Durant or Embiid
5. Giannis

I want to see Oladipo back in All-Star. I hope he wins the votes. Then, Jerami Grant from leading the Pistons and the great game last year.

I'm amazed how the NBA handle this tournament considering that they are playing without the live viewers, they are professionals indeed.
Well, for this years NBA all star I think I'll go for the same team before with a little changes, here's my list.

West

Lebron
Kawhi
Curry
Doncic
George

East

Durant
Harden
Irving
Butler
Giannis

Here’s my pick for this All Star 2021 and I’m so excited to see great players again on one court.
Though, Its kinda boring to see the all star because it looks like an exhibition match, but I don’t care I’ll support them all the way and they’re the best of the best for me.
Since they are professional players and best on their respective teams, its looks like an exhibition game but of course they are playing with a lot of pride representing not just themselves, but also with their team.

If voting did commenced then we can safely presume that this game would actually  happen.

I browse some NBA-related news about the All-Star and there's no confirmation yet that it will happen. Maybe NBA is just doing some of their routine All-Star preparations as usual so if ever there's a light that the actual event might be push, everything is now setup including the player's roster.

i agree that your top 5 will likely to enter the all star lineup especially curry, leonard and james are they are the key players in nbaas of this moment.

with regards to durant, i am not sure if he can still play in the upcoming all star game knowing that he is suffering an injury and it keeps on coming back as he plays but if he will be in good condition then he has a big chance to be part of it.

I still love KD to be part of the list, what he've got still pretty convincing even he's suffering from his previous injury but we already seen him played and once he wanted to take charge then it still happened.

The west side are is composed of so many options different types of stars who are capable and deserving to be inside of the list, they are bulks of options.

While in the side, Tatum, KD, Harden, Embiid and Kyrie, though injuries might hurt them
in terms of voting and everything would be decided after this.

The method they are playing now is fun and all, but it is also getting a bit boring, I get that picking teams is good and I am fine with that part, but the way they played last year wasn't fun at all. I know it was for Kobe's honor and I liked that they did something about it, but that is really the only year we needed that. I think the best way to go would be pick the captains, and then let them decide their teams as usual, but then play regular 12 minute 4 quarter games that we all know already. My picks would be

 West :
 Step Currey
 Damian Lillarda
 Lebron James
 Kawhi Leanord
 Nikola Jokic

 East :
 Giannis
 Harden
 Beal
 Durant
 Embiid

These should probably be the end result as well if something unexpected doesn't happen.

Here’s my pick for this All Star 2021 and I’m so excited to see great players again on one court.

West
1. Stephen Curry
2. Lebron James
3. Kawhi Leonard
4. Luka Doncic
5. Paul George

East
1. Kevin Durant
2. James Harden
3. Jimmy Butler
4. Giannis
5. Kyrie Irving

Some of the players that I want to see are still injured, I hope to see Klay on next season.

Thanks for point that out, now it is fixed. I wrote their names without google it lol that was my fault.
I agree with you, Utah Jazz is one of the best Western Conference teams and we hope Nicola will be on the All-Star game, he really deserves that.

I agree with you, Jazz are the number 1 team right now and seeing the votes above, it's easy to tell that the team or players are pretty much underrated.

By the way, is the new all star game is not the same like the last all star? I remember it was Team Lebron vs Team Giannis.

West:
Williamson, Zion
Curry, Stephen
Leonard, Kawhi
Gobert, Rudy
Lillard, Damian

East:
Beal, Bradley
Irving, Kyrie
Durant, Kevin
Embiid, Joel

As you can see, I did not vote for Lebron James because I know he will still get the most votes.

For scoring in west, Lebron is always in the top tier and for the east I don't know much about them yet but I might pick Durant or Irving for them.

So here's my picks:

West:
  • Doncic, Luca
  • Curry, Stephen
  • Leonard, Kawhi
  • Jokic, Nikola
  • James, Lebron

East:
  • Beal, Bradley
  • Irving, Kyrie
  • Durant, Kevin
  • Embiid, Joel
  • Antetokounmpo, Giannis

Most of my picks are in the top voted so I guess fans most likely to choose these lineups.

i agree that your top 5 will likely to enter the all star lineup especially curry, leonard and james are they are the key players in nbaas of this moment.

with regards to durant, i am not sure if he can still play in the upcoming all star game knowing that he is suffering an injury and it keeps on coming back as he plays but if he will be in good condition then he has a big chance to be part of it.

Hello guys!

The voting window is now open for NBA All-Star Voting 2021 - We can vote for OUR All-Star starters!

~snip~

What are yours?

Choosing the 10 players at this point is very complicated and risky.
Currently, I have 5 well-considered players to bet on... LeBron, Doncic, Durant, Antetokounmpo and Jokic.
Forgive me if my choice doesn't please you, but I still have 5 open positions and I'm not in a hurry to define them. I'm thinking of betting on some "hidden talents" that in my view have a great potential.

Since it's a popularity contest, I guess fan favorites Lebron, Kahwi, Steph, Giannis will be there. I haven't followed the league to have a sound opinion on who deserves to be part of this year's All-Star and I think it's too early to be casting votes. When is the end date?
