Be it known, the network's healthy blockchain is still syncing. There is still a constant hashrate and there are still a consistent number of connected peers.

I have created a Gentoo ebuild for NoodlyAppendageCoin if anybody is interested in testing it in an overlay -- simply send me a PM. Its been working great for me for the past two weeks.

For the New Year, perhaps a checkpoint is in order and additionally a difficulty adjustment algorithm such as Kimoto's Gravity Well since improvements have already been made to repair the "Time Warp" vulnerability upstream.
We certainly want to be ready for the New Year and have good reason to invite hash from multi-pools to help secure our blockchain.
If someone would mentor me on how to implement the above properly -- I would be grateful and happy to contribute the pull request.
