..I'm from India as well ..

That's odd, never saw you on the Indian section before. Why aren't you more active there? We can certainly use some experienced users engaging there more often..

The main cause for being inactive there is there's no moderation in that area of the forum after Benson Samuel left his authority. I've had been watching that section but nothing much caught my interest to post there. Trust me, you can't run a complete section/part of a forum with just 18-20 members making good posts there. I've not seen good amount of engagement between people there may be because as sardasa said, they might be scared of being trapped by officials just because Gov has the power to get us barred from using these services and even BTC. After their bullshit bill about banning cryptocurrencies in India, I believe people are trying to maintain a gap from crypto for some time till a final decision arrives.

I don't think your concerns are invalid. But understand this that even if govt. bans crypto enforcing it in a country like ours is not possible.

And any individuals engaging in crypto prior to any such ban would not be liable for whatever laws that may or may not come in the future. Because as of now, it is still not illegal to trade, hold and speculate on crypto assets.

Besides that there are quite a few of us that are trying to be the voice of the Indian section as a whole, finding a high-quality person to interact with would only make things better, not the other way around.

It is very easy to point fingers at 20 people, if the government wanted to do that, much harder and nearly impossible to do if the numbers were 20,000 instead.

Sorry Sardasa for the threadjack.

Including you Sardasa. I rarely see you engaging on the threads under the main board. I could be wrong but either way, we need to band up if we want to make that section a bit more lively, even half as good as it used to be back in 2013.
I have created there too.
Indian government does not want Indians to engage in cryptocurrencies. This is one reason for decline in user's engagement in Indian section.

Hi sardasa, I'm from India as well but unfortunately I don't have any credit cards with me (except Bajaj Finserv EMI Card which I don't think can be called as credit card  Huh)

But I've got few of my friends who have CCs and they may be interested to do this (if not done already and I'll first ask this to them). Can you share your telegram via PM or you just send me a message over there?

Till then, just a piece of an advice. If you really intend to get an Indian specifically, why not move this thread to our local India board here:

Will PM you here.
Have already created a thread there.

I have previously viewed CRED as a friend suggested me to do so but when I checked it's reviews I was taken aback.
The app is shit as the reviews said. It doesn't pay the bills on time even if we have made the payments 2 days prior to the due date.
So I won't recommend anybody to download and use this app.
Only once my payment failed and they issued me refund in 3 days.

What if this scenario happened to you on the due date ?
You will probably get a fine for late payment or will have to pay the interest.
Does CRED also refunds the interest that you have to pay extra?
If you're worried so much about your payment failing then why make payment at the very last day?
Can't we make payment a week in advance?

Moreover, payment failure can happen in all the payment modes.
If you want to stay risk-free then why not go to your bank and pay the bills in cash?

This is not the fault of CRED.

This is the same case even if you pay on Paytm or any other major payments app. It takes about 3 days for your payment to be reflected on government accounts when you are paying bills. Not only government bills, its the same with all banks as well.

It maybe your opinion BUT I won't agree to it.
I am personally using this app since 26th November 2018 (the day they were launched) & never faced any issues with them.
Only once my payment failed and they issued me refund in 3 days.

Check this thread on other forum where thousand of Indians are happily using it: https://www.desidime.com/forums/hot-deals-online/topics/cred-club-get-rewards-for-paying-credits-cards-bills

Exceptions are everywhere but this is the only app which is rewarding users for paying credit card bills.
