But if someone is using their service and they do take off then I'm sure it is in the report they would never do it again. Of course, people can always create new accounts, etc. But it would offer some level of security to show the person isn't trustworthy. Just like a credit report agencies. They don't go after people, but they will show if the person is dishonest.

Sure, but a credit report gives you the info needed for a small claims court lawsuit.

BTW I wouldn't say dishonest, more of a poor credit risk.  People don't usually intend to screw up their credit rating on purpose.

That being said, I'll step out of your thread so you can conduct your business.  Smiley

It's getting so late in the date that at this point I would be happy with 10 btc because I would still have to wait for it to transfer to a MP and I have to get to the bank to get a money order by the time they close or I'm screwed. I have like 7.44536396 and to make 250 would be about 20 btc so 13 would do it. oh and I'd have to pay for the MP transfer too. Not sure how much that is.

BTCjam do not release personal information to lenders, In fact ATM they have no debt collection set up.

Does BTCJam release the personal info to the lenders if the lendee scams and runs off?  I would hope so.  I don't think BTCJam would ever try to collect debt - that would be up to the person who lent the coins.

In T&C's under no circumstances do they release information between any users, They are in talks with Lawyers as to how to go about contacting people who have not paid installments on a loan received, But Legally all they can do I write a letter out, Unless BTC is classed as property (It is classed as virtual property in some country's) There is nothing else to do.

Well I guess I'll stop promoting them then.   Sad   It would be the same as lending money to an anonymous stranger.  If the scammer knows his/her personal information will not be released, he/she is much more likely to run away.

Well yes, I would expect that if I ran off. Geez. I just don't want someone using my business and then wanting to know where I live and a third party giving them the information. If you don't understand why I'm even asking then you haven't done your research.

If you pay back your loan, no one would find out where you live, nor would they care.

I am in the process of verifying information, but just like someone giving a loan I'd like to see who sees my private information from the btcjam site considering my job.

Create an account in BTCJam and verify everything.  Otherwise, it's too easy for you to just walk away with the coins.

Post the listing link from btcjam in this thread and you will get a lot more action on it.

I need 24 BTC today (10/5/12) to be paid back in within 60 days. 5% interest as described.

I'm pretty new here, but I have purchased items with bitcoins and I get paid in bitcoin as per my signature. If you need any information about me, please send me a PM and we can chat.

I just need to make a lot fee in cashier's check on my home before the end of business today because the person who rents a room from me lost his wallet and can't get any cash so I've got a grand of my own, but I need a little over $200 to complete it.

Thank you.

UPDATE: At this point I'll take 12 btc because I have some left over from a few calls. Thanks
