hmm dang you're right. Is there anyway to buy litecoin with cc?

Since you are asking for 1-1.5 BTC , you can buy almost anywhere with CC, coinmamma.com and indacoin.com are 2 website when you can buy them, verification is quite easy for a US resident which I think you are so no problems at all, but they offer their services in all the world.

Should i lower the post to 1 to 1.5? Would that work for a tablet and smartphone

You do realize these would have to be in the lender's or an escrow's possession first and then verified in good working order before you see any coin? You would also have to pay for return shipping unless you and the lender are close.
You really should just sell these or something else and buy the coins.

I'm not trying to scam but hoping to find a way to work. I guess with no collateral its a no go?

2-3 btc are too much of $ in this forum people are asking of collateral even for less than 0.05

Hi I can give my ID and/or paystub to show that I can payback. I can also send over a signed agreement so legally we are secure.

So in the end this all end up to asking a loan with id as collateral? Why dont try to ask at btcjam.

ID and pay stubs are worthless to the lender. A signed agreement would be subject to local laws and would require you to prove your identity. It would also be time consuming.
Proving you COULD pay back does not mean you WOULD.

Can you give something else as collateral?

Because, your phone isn't even worth 0.5 BTC.

How are you planning to give the collateral anyway ? Ship it to the lender and wait until he receives your phone ? You can sell your phones on a local website or phone dealer. You can still not match the amount of loan asked. The original price of the phone drops to half of its rate if used for 2 weeks or say after the unboxing.

Hello! I need a  2-3 btc loan. I can give my phone as collateral(nexus 6), or my old phone a samsung vibrant. Payback should be within 14 days or sooner. Interest can be negotiated but I am hoping around 15-20%.

Thanks!

used nexus 6 are worth around $200~. that's not enough collateral for even 1BTC loan.

Why don't you just pawn it somewhere in your area?
I think it will be harder foe you to get a loan with a physical good as collateral unless you can find someone in here that is from your local that will be willing to provide you a loan to save up the shipping cost.

Does the collateral worth enough to cover the loaned amount if happens you default of paying back? Not to down you but I doubt you can get what you are expecting.
