You shouldn't need this anymore now that you've sold your other domain for $30k, no?

Well its $30k fiat, and I'm still waiting on some stuff. I talked to my parents and they want to get someone to make sure I do it right and stuff.

Edit: That deal turned out to not be worth it on my end. Possibly a scam involving the purchasing of "Off-Brand" domain certification.

do you have any collateral to offer aside from domain and bitcointalk account? i can do this if you have more collateral, i dont accept domains :/

Unfourtantly I don't. Would you feel better if we lowered the amount of btc being loaned? I need it to advertise my website, I was hoping to get around 550,000 impressions, however I suppose I could get less.

im sorry i really don't accept domain names as collateral. maybe other lenders can accept it. goodluck then Smiley

Thanks

I need a loan for .3 btc I have a domain appraised at in between $40 - $160 that I can put up for collateral.

Domain name appraised by godaddy.com.

http://auctions.godaddy.com/appraisals/appraisal.aspx?a=b12cf644-a3f5-40dc-861f-297afcd812e5&prog_id=

BTC Address: 1DFFaywHrBUeN3dd4cYLMceFQdBq9czH2m

Reason for loan: Investment for another website

Repayment date: Two weeks after loan received

Repayment Amount: .35 btc
Most lender wouldn't accept domain as legit collateral.

Any reason? Domains can be resold pretty quickly and after the transfer the only way to get them back is for them to expire, or to have them transferred back.

It is not easy to liquidate the domain if the borrowers defaults the loan. And besides that, we could easily register salon16, salon01 for cheaper price. Why do they buy your domain?

People buy domains for much more money than that, when they could just add a number after it instead. Also I'm not selling these domain names, those are all registered to buisness I build sites for. I need those domains pretty badly and don't want to lose them. If you don't want to do the loan thats fine but honestly domains are super easy to sell dude.

honestly it would depend on the lender and if they value a domain name or not; also a price range is sort of dissuading as opposed to a firm value on the domain. just my thoughts.

Also dude the name is valued at that by godaddy. I have other domains I can provide as collateral as well.

PROLETARIAT-TIMES.COM Which is valued at inbetween 8 and 32 http://auctions.godaddy.com/appraisals/appraisal.aspx?a=246317dd-0fd7-451e-9e3f-fc9f3d119050&prog_id=

And risologistics.com which is valued in between 81-323 bucks http://auctions.godaddy.com/appraisals/appraisal.aspx?a=87f8a71c-6542-4751-92a5-ff2c992c2a06&prog_id=

If this is better collateral let me know.

I have to say most lenders wouldn't accept domain as legit collateral. BTW the domain name salon15.net doesn't seem very good due to the included number.
