Shadow, I took small loan here time to time when i need it. But i think your amount is big and people will ask you equivalent collateral to cover it in case you didnt return your loan and disappeared from Bitcoin talk forum coz you know nobody knows who is shadow_runner is Grin

Here's a simple solution for you! You are known in the altcoin section, why not ask for one in the altcoin section? After getting the loan, you can convert it to BTC and it's solved Wink

Using your account as collateral means that the lender holds your account until you repay the loan and when you default they can either sell it or otherwise use it how they wish. Considering that your account is no where near worth 5 btc, doing so would not help you get the loan.

As stated above, without any collateral (preferably altcoin) then you are not going to be able to get a loan. At least not from someone who knows how to protect themselves

Shadow is a good community member, active in forums and chatbox, like him, trust him and did give him a loan before, got the money back in notime.

Sure you did. But his reputation (or yours) is worth way less than BTC5.

OP, read this post and try offering a valid collateral worth more than BTC5 (I can help if you do that), otherwise just lock the thread:

I need a loan of 4.3 BTC till end of MAY maximum.
I will repay 5 BTC.
I will not lie about fast and high profit for you bla bla bla, I just need a help ~one month+ term loan.
I'm sure I will collect this amount thru mining/trading, maybe earlier then end of May (actually I have around ~1.2 BTC right now in alt.coins (ICO + at exchanges) + miningrigrentals), but I need this amount ASAP to clear one's expenses.
