Find a password-protected PDF file and download it https://jpg2pdfconverter.com/pdf-jpg. You can save your changes after the conversion, or you can convert a version of the file yourself later using the program. If the file is not heavily encrypted, it will be unprotected in a matter of seconds and can be downloaded. Temporary protection can be used. The files will be deleted one hour after being processed. If we need the password, it will not be read or saved by third parties. Files with an owner password can be instantly unlocked. But if the file has complex encryption, it can be opened only after entering the correct password.
Can't unlock the file at all with foxit, or any reader besides Acrobat for that matter.

Did you try though to install PDFCreator, doPDF or anything similar and print there?
(I guess you did; and I don't really have any other ideas
) 
I've read somewhere that Foxit Reader could be more "lax" with the protection and, if you have installed a "print to pdf" driver (or Microsoft XPS Document Writer) you may be able to print it like that.
I don't use telegram; if you get a more universal way to share the file and key I can also give it a shot (today or tomorrow).

Sounds like a challenge, I'm willing to accept a copy to see what I can do. I can give you my word that I agree to not distribute the file or its contents to anyone

I'm in possession of a protected PDF that I would like not to be.
I would like it to be searchable after the DRM removal. So no crappy images/screenshots.
Here is what I know about the technology:
- It says "protected by vitrium security"
- It only works with Adobe reader
- I have to paste my licence key into the actual pdf to make it readable.
- The PDF needs internet access to unlock
- Without internet access you can call a hotline and will be provided an offline unlock code.
PDF can be provided if someone serious enough wants to look into it (would send via telegram), along with the licence key if you think you can do something about it.
I'm not looking to make money out of this, only to make it readable on portable devices, ideally kindle or similar, so I won't be paying a lot for this. I would also request you not to publish the document anywhere else, and refrain from reselling it.
I can have someone vouch for the integrity of the file if that's a concern.
