Funds received from MoonShadow successfully. Now I just have to wait for SEPA withdrawals to be enabled again.

Haha, asking for loans seems to have become popular after I made this thread Cheesy

Just gotta wait for MoonShadow to transfer his funds... and for SEPA withdrawals to be re-enabled on Tradehill, then I will sell and withdraw the funds and pay the bills that need to be paid ASAP Smiley

I confirm that the funds have been received.

Once again, thank you. Great to see so many people willing to trust a new member even with all the scams that go on here. I really appreciate it.

yes.

I understand you will be paying interest on the 10 btc ? so paying back 12 btc ?

If you take loan from me you pay no interest. Keep your interest to yourself , in your wallet.

what you think?
It sounds great, but:

1. I already have a deal with MoonShadow.
2. I need at least 10 BTC.
3. MoonShadow has offered me great conditions. I can repay at the latest 15th of September, which is great for me as I'm not sure how long it will take for me to convert my cash to bitcoins and I'm not even 100% sure which exact day I'm getting my money, aside from that it's between the 22nd and the 26th of August. This way I don't have to feel any stress/pressure, I won't have to worry about being labeled a scammer just because it's taking longer than expected for me to transfer the money.

However, I would be happy to take your loan in ADDITION to MoonShadow's loan. An extra 5 BTC to survive the month wouldn't exactly hurt. If I'm granted this loan, I am willing to pay a small percent (say, 10%?) as a "thank you".

Honestly, I never kept very much at Mybitcoin.com, because I was wondering how long it would take before the temptations of so much value would get to them, that or someone else managed to hack the site.  It was inevitable, really.
Very wise of you. I don't use Mybitcoin at all for this very reason, I can't afford to lose any money at all, even if it's only a small amount, until I get a monthly income again. (next month)

But it's good to know you haven't lost a lot of money and that the deal is still on, as I really need this loan.

anyone wanna have a side bet?... I say he will pay him back..

I should have taken that bet
:/
There is nothing to pay back, so the bet would probably be considered void as well Wink

Ah, but even though there is no loan the winner of the side bet is the one that said you would not pay back, even though you do not have anything to payback!

Life has a funny way of not ending up the way we originally thought. 8^)

EDIT

And while I was typing all that foolish crap it looks like we have a game back on!

I can't access my Mybitcoin.com account, and blockexployer says that the address that I sent bitcoins to does not appear in the blockchain.  I must admit, this is bad all the way around.  If necessary, I'll go get my savings thumbdrive out of my safety deposit box tomorrow and send the funds from there.
Alright. But I understand if you don't want to go through with this anymore, seeing as you may have just lost a large sum of money because of this debacle. However, if you're still up for it, so am I. These are the best loan conditions I can accept on such short notice.

Although we can still hope the site will come back, I highly doubt it. It must be really frustrating to lose all that money just like that.

As MoonShadow was sending the funds with MyBitcoin, which is now seemingly gone, and I made the declaration of debt above prematurely (I hadn't received any funds before posting it) I'm going to assume the deal is void.

I will wait for MoonShadow to confirm (or deny) in this thread.

holy God! 7 hours in and we already have Credit Default Swaps appearing!? BTC is doomed.

Technically it would be a synthetic CDS as it would seem niether party of the side bet would have an interest in the outcome .

Some times ago I tried to give loans to the WebMoney users with personal certificate (need to show passport or ID card to get it), but after few non-returns I stopped lending. Giving loan to stranger without any guarantee is the same that playing roulette.

Hi.

I realize I'm new here, and there probably won't be anyone to take me up on this offer. But I'd like a small loan, say 10 BTC, for about a month.

I don't need the money for any one specific purchase. It is not for mining equipment. I'm simply in a bad spot and need some money quickly to pay my monthly bills and the like. I don't have any form of income during the summer, and due to poor planning I've ran out of funds. However, I will start getting a monthly income again sometime between the 22nd and 26th of August, and this is when I will be able to repay you.

I don't have any #bitcoin-otc feedback. I do, however, have some feedback on Tradera, which is basically the Swedish equivalent of EBay. I can show you this upon request.

Please send me a PM with your offer (interest and how long I get to pay back) or any questions you may have.

Thanks in advance.

I think this is a great new way for people to make money with bitcoin. Could we maybe open up a loan section of the forum so places like IBB (great people to work with btw) and others here like Moonshadow can have public loan and things of this nature.
Though you also have to keep in mind it is a very high-risk investment. MoonShadow is making a pretty big leap of faith here, even though it's not exactly the biggest sum of money ever. From his perspective, it is very likely I will just run off with the money. After all, I'm just a newbie who doesn't even have any EBay feedback.

ROI is huge, though. 120% in this case.

I hereby acknowledge that I, Yuusha, owe 10 BTC to MoonShadow, to be repaid no later than September 15th. This debt will be repaid with an interest of 20%, for a total of 12 BTC.

This thread will remain open until the debt has been repaid, in case either party wants to discuss any aspect of the deal in public. After successful repayment, the thread will be locked by myself.

I'd like to add that I'm also willing to split it up into multiple smaller loans, for example I could borrow 5 BTC from one person and 5 BTC from another, but I'd like to keep it to at most three loans, to simplify to repayment process. So if you have 3-5 BTC to spare, that will work as well.

Thanks!
