Or Avalon 841's if just looking at cheap but uber reliable hash. PSU is usually the weakest link followed by the easily replaceable single fan. Set up 1 RasPi controller and you can run up to 6 miners per Raspi with excellent performance or up to 20 per controller if you don't mind slightly higher HW error rate.

avalon 841 was one of the best units avalon made.

if he got three for Three hundred dollars or less he should make out okay.

i had dragonmint 1 gear five pieces they are hard to find parts and support.

the avalon 841

the s9,s9i,s9j

on the cheap are both better choices then t1 gear.

i assume dragonmint 1 x two would equal aladdin.

but getting them is higher risk for, repairs.

Check Ebay and compare prices, remember all S9 series need a PSU (APW3++ or APW7).

Also, regardless of what gear you chose to buy you must Sdcard it before plugging it to the network, a good percentage of used mining gears come infected and if the virus spread into your LAN it will be very hard to get rid of it, so the gear you decide to buy MUST have an Sdcard slot and must be flashable.
Emphasis mine.
Sound advice and must be a mandatory move that sadly too many folks never consider...
Even after sd personally I'd only run them in a quarantined network safe zone.

Perhaps just a blatant plug for my favorite miner but also look at used Avalon 841's. Considering you can easily just download a fresh RasPi image and firmware from the Canaan.io site it is easy to have a clean slate... Plus, they are hard to kill and offer a plethora of Vcore and freq settings to allow for a wide range of speed/power ranges all the way down to >9THs pulling just over 850w and well over 13THs pulling around 1,300w. Not great efficiency but they are cheap and near bullet proof Smiley

Actually even Aladin is cheap I don't waste my time buying them because it was made as a disposable. So if you get some software issue it won't be able to flash because they don't have the support and you won't be able to find any from Google except if you have contact directly from Alladin miner(I don't know if they can provide firmware for this gear).

aixin a1 22th is also the same as above and this one looks abandoned gear they don't have any sites and support. Since before and until now no one could provide firmware or image files to flash this gear.

@Nozad I vote for Antminer s9 as suggested from the above posts because this gear has many support and firmware. You can flash them through the web or SD card and there are many repair guides about this unit.

The problem with these gears is that there is no company called "Aladin" that manufacture mining gears, they simply modify another known miner and give it a fancy name, should you face a problem in the future it's highly unlikely that you will find resources online to help you solve the problem, the support on most of these Chinese companies is pretty useless and you will have to count on other miners sharing their experiences, so you should stick to mining gears that are widely used such as antminer S9, but since these are old gears and will eventually break you have to take the cost per th into consideration if Aladin t1 32th goes for 100$ and S9 13.5th goes for 80$, then I would go with Aladin, if the difference in price is pretty minor I will go with S9.

It is older gear.
It will be subject to breaking.
32th earns. 32 x 0.073 = 2.33 usd a day that is subject to decline, but

100 x 2.33 = 233 in 100 days
200 x 2.33 = 466 in 100 days
300 x 2.33 = 699 in 100 days

So what does it cost to buy ? if it is 200 bucks  it is worth a shot if it is 300 bucks it becomes a maybe.

personally I would buy 3 s9's with 3 apw3++ power supplies.

they can 30 to 42 th via braiins software
you can find them for 100 put in a best offer for 85 each for the 3 so 3 for 255
or an offer of 90 each 3 for 270

https://www.ebay.com/itm/AntMiner-S9-13-5T-Bitcoin-Miner-ASIC-BTC-Bitmain-Mining-Machine-W-Power-Supply/184333392157?

if you run them at 13th each and use 1100 watts each you are at 39th 39 x 0.073 = 2.83 a day

100 x 2.83 = 283 = break even.

I looked fast on ebay don't know the seller.

Are you usa Based?

If so there a lot of people that have s9's
there are not a lot of dragonmint t1's

Your chances of making money with the s9's are better.
