I chose a Radeon HD 5770 GPU from Newegg a few weeks ago, as it was the most cost-effective card that they then had available.  When overclocked it gets about 202 MH/sec and I have six of them in three rigs that total 860 watts power draw.

6870 should, and they're readily available around $200!

Thanks mousepotato. I might go up to $200 for a card. Just found out that I can get a 25% discount with free shipping through work. As long as I can get one that will do over 300Mh I will be satisfied.

5830 will crack 300MH/s for $109 shipped from Newegg.  5850 will get really close to 400MH/s but good luck finding one of those new.  You can sometimes find them used on Craigslist for around $100-150.  5870 will do 440MH/s+ for $150-200 on the used market.

This is what I have on my idle computer

AMD Phenom(tm) II X2 Processor 3.10 GHz
2.00 GB Ram
64-bit Operating System

I do have an ATI 4200 which is not able to be used for pooling...thats why I want to upgrade.

What are everyone's thoughts on a good pooling Card for less than 150.00?
