Bitcoin cash will be a hit but i don't think it could replace bitcoin. It will just crash like other altcoinsat the market. It's better if buy only the half of your portfolio because most of us don't know what's gonna happen after August 1. Honestly, im more comfortable on buying altcoins right now. The market is getting more stronger. But it is impossible that bitcoin will fall down to zero. Im telling you that because only few are in favor to BCC.

It is possible that BitcoinCash can rise right after August 1 but just like you I also doubt if it can be able to hold on with its newfound glory as it is possible it can also be a victim of a mega dump. Some are calling it as a free money but does it mean that if you have a Bitcoin you can also have an equivalent amount of BCC in a supportive wallet?

Now, in wallets that are not interested with BCC, does it mean that their users will not get any BCC but just be able to retain their Bicoin?

Currently all my alts are in a negative profit since Bitcoin correction. Now should I sell my altcoin and accept the loss to avoid further loss?

Will BTC back to zero and BCC will become the new Bitcoin? Or I need to dump BCC and stay faithful to BTC?

How true 91% of all miners in the world in favor of BCC segwit? If i stay faithful with BTC I have only 9% of miners?

its happen to every traders and not just you and i hope that you can control your emotion while you see this condition. i don't think that bitcoin will be back to zero because bitcoin price now is really to high and i guess many people don't want to see if bitcoin price is drop to zero. but i am still believe with bitcoin no matter is happen but if bcc can helps me to make money, then i will use bcc to because my main purpose to online in internet is trying to make money and i already did until now.

Dude don't sell your altcoins at a loss. It is a down trend now because of the fork. People like you are in panic and selling their coins and that's why the prices of coins are going down. Just remember one thing that trades travel in waves. If the price is down now it will surely come up at some point of time. You just have to wait for the right time to arrive. Whatever result comes after the fork the prices will keep going up and down . So dont worry and just hold tight. Keep your altcoins the way it is and don't exchange them for btc. After the fork buy whichever coins leads the market.

The silver lining here is that alts haven't reached the same heights they were at the last time BTC was at this price - I see this as indication of less dependency on Bitcoin and perhaps a bit more evidence that Bitcoin's politics may yet be contained. Still too soon to say, though.

I'm in the same situation just like you. Bought a fair amount of altcoins and now i'm in red. But i'll hold, and hope for a better future!

if you are sure that the cause of the price of altcoin dropping is because of btc, then instead of selling  at loss, you should buy more. bitcoin will recover and so are your altcoins. but if what you have are shitcoins, then you are loss at the very beginning.

Thank you guys, for clearing my FUD. One last question. After August 1, and the split happened. BTC is still the old slow coin, so the proposed Segwit to speed up the bitcoin is just a scam shitcoin to be dumped later?

BTC will have Segwit activated with no block size increase, the BCC fork will have an increased blocksize of 8mb with no Segwit. Up to you which one to dump. BTC is what you'll currently get for your alts.

People that are promoting bcc now are doing this to make huge profit after August first. They going to dump it after segwith activation. Your should not sell your coins now so you will not be among the people that will regret in future. We should hold and take a stand with bitcoin and others good altcoins in other to make good return in future.

LOL. Another FUD. BTC will not be back to zero. Never. BCC don't have the majority support and will never have. You should stay to BTC as what have others are thinking. If ever we got a BCC they will be dump so quick. Regarding your altcoin, you should hold on it. You will not incur lose if you will just hold for a bit. And why are you in a hurry? Don't be emotional, you need to think logically otherwise you will have a lot of lose money. Just hold your altcoins and buy more.

It will only be like ETH and ETC issue, ETH still at its place made some correction but it's now recovering. Same thing might happen to btc and bcc. So let it just happen. If you don't need your money at this moment better hold on it. You might regret if you sell it now.

- All alts are in red and they don't have much trading volume right now so if you can than you should buy some altcoins for quick profit.

- BTC will never go to zero but can't say BCC will not go to that level because BCC don't have much support

- 91%+ miners are in favor of segwit (BTC) and not for BCC look at http://segwit.co

Well we don't know what hapenned on all altcoins after segwit. Maybe there will be dump price in the next days cause on bitcoin fork
and the second what will happened if Bitcoins fork is success who's does two Bitcoins (BTC) or Bitcoins Plus(BCC)  may be able to sell our Altcoins if there are two option. Maybe make a safe sell your alts now and buy later after segwit I think decreasing price is connected to August 1 Segwit

OP, that will depend on how large your losses are. If your loss is so large like over 50% of the Bitcoin amount then you have a hard choice to either accept the loss now or wait. But I would incline towards the waiting part. If the losses are small then it is an easy decision to let go of your altcoins and hold 100% Bitcoins.

Bcc is an issue? Could you explain that? Forks happen. The strongest chain continues and the other dwindles and or dies. I see no point in humoring their coin.

I suggest just hold your altcoins, don't sell it just because BCC. I'm in same boat like you, almost all of my altcoins still in red for now.

Honestly we don't know what will happen in the future if you want to be safe and don't want to lose a lot better to sell it right now just to prevent of losing a lot more.. Or you can hold it and wait for sometime to recover or make a profit before you sell ..
It will be still depends in your own decision and speculation.. but for me for now better to watch and hold them for more time..
Just to be clarify the situation what will be happen.. And its impossible that bitcoin will be back to zero just my opinion.
