Unskilled workers can make ~$8/hour flipping burgers at McDonalds. This kind of worker will probably not do a very good job, and probably wont be able to catch all your mistakes.

More skilled workers are going to command a higher wage.

If you increase your offer then you will have a better chance of finding someone capable of doing what you need done, especially considering that you are looking for a native English speaker.

You are free to offer however much you wish, however I would suggest offering between $40 and $60 for four hours of work.

I know it's not much, but I can't really afford to offer much more. I'm still a student, and starting a website is already quite expansive, because of the domain, hosting and SSL certificate that I decided to take. I mean, I started this website during my free time as a challenge, and I've already invested more than I expected to. If the website really takes off, I will of course reconsider this position but in the mean time, I'm just looking someone speaking correctly and able to correct the majority of my mistakes, to make the website look a bit more profesional.

Hello. I am definitely the man for the job. I was born and raised in the U.S.A. I speak great English and I also have my own website that I built from the ground up. I will P.M. you with a link if you don't mind.

Thanks for the offer, but I've already had several answers from other users. I'll stay in touch with you if I ever need your help later down the road.

Good evening to everyone,

I’m looking for someone to crawl through my website in order to correct the formulations I’ve used in English, since this is not my first language.

The job will consist in :
  • Signing up to the website to get access to all the pages
  • Visiting 12 different URL’s (most of them are only featuring maps/charts, with a low text content)
  • Visiting the blog of the website and correcting the 8 or 9 short posts written so far
  • Listing all the vocabulary and grammatical mistakes present in the website
  • Sending me back a list containing all the mistakes you’ve found (by email)

I’m looking for :
  • A native English speaker (ideally, from the US)
  • Someone serious, with some blogging or writing experience
  • Someone who loves to travel (especially by plane), since this is a travel related website

More informations :
  • I estimate that you will need between 3 and 4 hours to complete the job
  • The job will be considered completed and paid once I receive a detailed list containing the mistakes found
  • You have at most 10 days to complete the job
  • I will pay you the equivalent of 15$ in bitcoins (for a job well done!)

I’m not sure how this works, but I am of course open to use an escrow for a smoother transaction.
If interested, PM me (detailing which kind of experience you already have) and I will let you know within a day or two if you can start the job.

Cheers,
Cédric
