Just pick up an extra fan, take out the old one and place it underneath the card.. As long as you have the space.
Mine still works; I'm not giving it up. You may as well RMA.
Brand new XFX 5850 broke a fan blade and instead of dealing with a return and most likely a refund instead of an exchange, I'd like to get a fan assembly from someone. I know it's a long shot but it might still pay out
