Yeah you can fake the user details, they wont ask you to verify them via id or something, its up to you if you want to be anon or no.

I've passed this all along to my friend and told him to just register and get on here. He says he will be this week and I've emailed a link to this thread to him.

Anonymous .com registration isnt a thing! If you put bullshit information, you can still get your domain seized :/
I just wanted to give you a heads up Smiley

Of course, this is also the reason behind the .bit TLD.

Can u show me some example where domain has been seized for providing wrong WHOIS ?

Moreover, there are ways to tweak an information, so that it looks real.

I also told him truly anonymous registration doesn't exist unless you fudge things a bit.

If the feds or someone want to seize your .com they quite simply will. We have seen that happen.

I had a very close friend who had a .com taken away for providing false information by 1and1 and I've steered clear from them ever since.

For registration you can go to namecheap.com

Sure, if you are a lawyer and want to read their fine print bullshit.

Is there anything wrong with NameCheap and are they enom reseller anyway ?

Yes, their fine print bullshit is what is wrong with them.

Can u please be a bit more accurate about what do u mean by fine print bullshit ? I was considering buying some domain from them. But because of your statement I'm halted and reconsidering my decision. It would be great if u plz elaborate.

One concern he expressed to me is if he uses fake information and they determine that they will take his domain away at a later date as he has seen that in some of the TOS for some places. I asked him to come here and register an account and talk with you guys in this thread. He is fairly new to cryptocurrency so I'm happy that we will have a new member from all of this!

Namesilo.com - accepts BTC, free WHOIS privacy forever, if you don't trust that, you just put in fake info. They don't offer hosting, but you can put in afraid.org nameservers and point to an anon VPS host.

Thanks, I will pass this along to him. That was one that I didn't find during my searching so great to have someone suggest it.

Hey Everyone,

A friend asked me this week if I know of any services that offer 100% anonymous domain registration for a .com and if that same service offers Linux VPS hosting as well or if another does.

I've searched around and found a few but this is a very good friend and want to make sure I steer him to a reputable place.

Tell me who you know about!
