I am very glad your BTC was returned to you. I have seen people transfer one coin to an address of another coin and never get their coins back (I don't know where they go...). You should share the method which you used to retrieve your BTC back from the unconfirmed transaction so others who have this problem can solve it as well.

Good luck and stay safe! Tongue

Thank you  Smiley .

I wrote about my problem on "Coinomi support" and they explained how to find my private key for the adress I sent my coins to, using their recovery tool ( https://coinomi.freshdesk.com/support/solutions/articles/29000014189-accidentally-sent-btc-to-coinomi-bch-wallet-or-sent-bch-to-coinomi-btc-wallet-faq ). Then, I just swept wallet using my key and that was it.

Regards, good luck and stay safe  Grin

Why was then possible to send my btc if I can't receive it?

Because the Bitcoin Cash developers did not change the address format when they forked the chain there is no way to prevent mistakes like this.

Thats for me a lot of money. And where are my coins then if they are not on that bch adress?  Thank you for your answers and I would really appreciate if someone could help me about my problem.

This

Your coins are inside of BTC address. If you dont have private key of that address you cannot access them.

The both wallets are mine and I am sure I have all those informations you mentioned, if that can even help me. Is there any option to retrieve my coins?

As above, you need the private key to the BTC address you sent the coins to. Without that nobody can help you.

How do you mean that my coins are in BTC adress when that adress where I sent bitcoin is BCH adress? And where can I find that private key in coinomi?
Sorry for maybe being stupid, but I don't feel good now and I can't think right

Hello guys,
I have transfered some btc from electrum btc wallet to coinomi bch (btcash) wallet using regurarly "receive adress" from coinomi wallet. I also paid some fee for the transaction. I did that about 13 hours ago but amount never showed in my coinomy wallet. Anyone know what that might be? Have I done something wrong?

I am kind of new in this so please have some understanding.

Thank you

You have lost your Bitcoin.

Bitcoin Cash is a fork of Bitcoin. Since the fork, they are separate cryptocurrencies and have separate blockchains so it is not possible to send from one to the other. What you actually did was send Bitcoin to a Bitcoin address that you don't know if anyone has the private key to.

Is it possible to send btc to bch address? I know they did use some blockchain but after hf as I know we should not send btc to bch address unless we know bch address private key.

It seems you have done something wrong, As some articles said about this day is the fork day of the bitcoin cash. That means your transaction will get stuck. I may wrong but this is my speculation about something that already prevents your amount to be delivered to your address. You might try to check it through some reliable crypto news sites.
