Hi,

My friends and I have built a 6 GPU rig based around the VEGA 56 card. The 18.34 drivers from AMD are being used.
We are using the latest xmr-stak recommended on miningpoolhub.com since the algorithm has changed to cryptonight7.
The cards have not been flashed or mod'd in any way. I wanted to see if I could emulate what I read on xmr-stak.com. On xmr-stak.com I saw someone's setting's (unmod'd or flashed) and he claimed to get 2000H/S.
I tried my best using afterburner to emulate his settings. I also increased the intensity in the xmr-stak's config file to 1934.
Unfortunately, the best hashrate we can get is 1200H/S. The card is very quiet so we think it is not mining at full capacity clearly.

I am open to any and all suggestions to increase hashrate, including changing miners.
My Polaris editor 1.6.2 did not recognize the card. If mod'ing is required, please suggest an editor that will work with Vega.
As well, although we unlock voltage settings in afterburner, it does not give us the option to change it.
Running Windows 64 bit (non activated)

Have a look at this. Hopefully it will give you some ideas.

A tip on how to use two threads with xmr-stak on a Vegas card, or any other card for that matter, https://github.com/nicehash/NiceHashMinerLegacy/issues/680

Sounds like your only running a single thread if your getting 1200h/s... I started off using XMR-Stak then tried Cast-XMR even tried Claymore 11.2/11.3 now I'm using SRBMiner Cryptonight AMD GPU Miner V1.4.1 https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/srbminer-cryptonight-amd-gpu-miner-v193-native-algo-switching-3167363 running an 8 x Vega 56 rig and a 6 x Vega 56 rig. With the newer AMD 18.3.4 drivers. Stock Bios but I am running 85% pptables and OverdriveNTool for the overclock/undervolting. Check out the SRBMiner thread there are a bunch of us AMD RX Vega users in there that can help with configuring for the best hash rate and great stability...
