Hi Bitcointalkers,

Im currently mining dogecoins and have noticed that the profitability of dogecoins has dropped(mainly due to difficulty increase and lowered block rewards). Coinwarz.com has been showing alot more potential profit in other cryptocurrencies. Although many coins seem to be fairly unstable in regards to profitability and they jump up and down the coinwarz.com list quite alot. Where as dogecoin seems fairly stable. In saying that, Id like to invest some mining time, into other cryptocurrencies, but am unsure which ones to bother investing in.

So my plan was to extract data from coinWarz.com listing, on a 4 to 8 hourly basis, over a 2-3 week period. Then once this has occurred, I would pick 2 or 3 other cryptocurrencies to mine, based on how often they show up near the top of the profitability listings on Coinwarz.com

Does anyone know how I could go about extracting the data from coinwarz.com into an excel spreadsheet or txt file for example, so that I can assess which other coins are worth mining.

I have tried using the Microsoft Excel 'Web Query" method(with a set time refresh for next extraction). But everytime the data is extracted from Coinwarz.com, it seems to overwrite the previous data extraction from the site, in the excel spreadsheet.

I then tried using a vb script, which was supposed to copy the previous data extraction onto another sheet(say sheet 2) inside the excel spreadsheet and place the refreshed new data extraction, onto the current sheet(say sheet 1).
VB script details are on the following link: http://www.mrexcel.com/forum/excel-questions/569138-how-get-web-query-refresh-into-next-column.html

Does anyone have a better idea for my experiment to work? Or even a completely different method, for assessing good stable profitability of other cryptocoins, to invest mining time into?

I really enjoy reading alot of topics on this forum, hence why I thought this would be the best place to ask such a query. Thanks again Bitcointalkers.
