Is anyone available to help me out over TeamViewer? I am trying to setup GPU mining for Vertcoin on Linux (Ubuntu). I am struggling.

Thanks!

Windows 8, driver 13.1, whichever default SDK comes with that driver.  On pushpool's with gpu-threads 2 I get 735kh/s.  On p2pool's with gpu-threads 1 I get 620kh/s.  That is for the 7970.  On my 5830's I get 270-280kh/s.

No need to TeamViewer session this.  Here is my example config for a 7970 and two 5830's for mining scrypt based alt-coins.  This is on the verge of stability.  You should be able to gather enough from this to get your own config going.  Read the README's in cgminer documentation.  Look at every variable.  I have this really tweaked, so you may not necessarily want some of the values I have below such as fan speeds, temp target, etc.

Code:
{
"pools" : [
{
"url" : "p2pool.org:9388",
"user" : "xxxxxxxxxxxxxx",
"pass" : "xxxxxxxxxxxxxx"
},
{
"url" : "127.0.0.1:8108",
"user" : "xxxxxxxxxxxxxx",
"pass" : "xxxxxxxxxxxxxx"
}
]
,
"intensity" : "13,15,15",
"shaders" : "2048,1120,1120",
"gpu-engine" : "1170,955,935",
"gpu-fan" : "55-88,50-85,50-85",
"auto-fan" : true,
"gpu-memclock" : "1700,1175,1150",
"gpu-powertune" : "20,20,20",
"temp-cutoff" : "95,95,95",
"temp-overheat" : "85,85,85",
"temp-target" : "77,77,77",
"api-port" : "4028",
"expiry" : "1",
"gpu-dyninterval" : "7",
"gpu-platform" : "0",
"gpu-threads" : "1",
"hotplug" : "5",
"log" : "5",
"no-pool-disable" : true,
"queue" : "0",
"scan-time" : "1",
"temp-hysteresis" : "3",
"shares" : "0",
"kernel-path" : "/usr/local/bin"
}

How many KH/s from the 7970?

Also what OS, SDK and driver?
thx!

Need Help mining Scrypt currency's? skype/TeamViewer to adjust in exchange of some BTC/LTC

days ago i was trying to make my 2HD7950 go higher then 450kh/s lol
no i get some hash/s between 1.10mh/s and 1.17mh/s

some times my video driver crashes, that's why i use guiminer OR CGWatch to make cgminer run well even if he also crashed, or if GPU dies or get sick

don't know CGWatcher yet? Tongue URL https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/cgwatcher-140-a-guimonitor-for-cgminer-bfgminer-to-help-minimize-downtime-159267

I Will not install anything, just MSI AFterburner, if needed(in case that is already installed)  but i will download directly from msi websites
this link http://event.msi.com/vga/afterburner/download.htm

and MAYBE, GPU-Z, also from website, all times ONLY downloading from the website.

u will only send id and Password for that session, i highly recommend to restart pc/adsl modem to reset ip and password.
also would be cool if u watch while i'm in. so u can't blame me of anything, cause u see what i'm doing.

Prices could be from 1BTC to 0.1BTC or equivalent in LTC. Price can be lowered if i got lucky and find good values more faster.

Prices could be suggested by u
i'm not sure if need to tell anything more here.

Oh i'm From Brazil, i Speak Portuguese BR, but speak little of english, not 100% of course, but enough to do this and that Cheesy without a text/voice translator.
 uhm...i think that's all for now Cheesy

also i'm selling 1500 BBQ..PM me with price. if u are thrust able i send first my BBQs, otherwise u send first Btc
currently only 1322.98392314 in my wallet, should have come already more BBQs, but some errors on my wallet, fixing that now Cheesy

Already sell it here -> http://forum.bbqcoin.org/viewtopic.php?f=18&t=1244
