pcie splliter safe run under 200w and dont use as double, there is cable mod provider in local store you might buy custom pcie cable, or check pcie port & buy on e-commerce, standar psu should easy to find, and consider cheap compared buying custom cable

trust me i got few cables lying around, just not sure how to know if it is universal or not !...

Just do a store check if possible and check the voltage with a multimeter.
Or ask a question to technical support.
I'm used to using a Corsair or Cougar, so I already have a lot of different additional cables due to the breakdown of several power supplies.

With such a power supply, you can install a third RTX 3080 video card.

ur mostly right 1000w is about the limit for 2x 3080s at 80% limit coz its a server board with 2x CPUs, RAM, SSD etc...

i found out that 1000w PSU got 4x 8 pin connections, so i was planning to do it like this:
2x 8 pin VGA Cables/Connectors will go for 1st 3080 (this one needs only 2x 8pin)
1x 8 pin VGA Cable/Connector will go to 2nd 3080 (this one needs 3x 8pin sadly)
Now we r left with 2x 8pin ports unfulfilled on the 2nd 3080...

Will use One 6pin to dual 8pin splitter to convert last vga connector/cable for the 2nd 3080

good idea ?

seriously that second 3080 with 3x 8pin is giving me trouble and the lack of good PSUs in this country !...

using server psu is doable & cheap, but to loud for mining in home, my advice is using evga platinum series if you want get lot of pcie cable

or using pcie splitter, and yeah you can buy pcie cable from aliexpress,

the cheapest and best psu for bucks is antec hcp series, trully outstanding and long lasting psu

With aliexpress, delivery is now very long, because there are a lot of orders at the end of the year and there are long queues at customs.
It is better to look for devices in your city and in the communities of miners. Look for such communities in telegram or other messengers.

it has four pcie two headed cables.

use two two headed to the two jack 3080

use two two headed to the three jack 3080

if you set the cards to 240 watts the cables will not overload.

now i have zero idea if newegg would ship 🚢 to you.

but that psu will do the job.

if newegg does not ship to you let me figure out if There is a way to get it to you.

My DPS 1200 FB A psu units were always pretty quiet,
the noise stabilized to a low level some time after the start-up.

I've used them for a gpu rig and for few Avalon 7 series miners.

But what comes to your question,
a good sturdy psu would be:

1x HP DPS 1200 FB A (max. 1200 W at 230V, or 900 W at 110V) server psu
1x HP common slot psu breakout board for 12x 6-pin
12x good quality (6+2) -pin pcie power cables
1x pico psu for motherboard powers

This setup was roughly what I used for my previous gpu miner I had back in the days.
