Hmm, well I am thoroughly confused as to why you can't connect... it *should* be working.

Anyway perhaps I will give up the dream since I have nowhere near enough BTC on hand to fund a PPS pool in the beginning. Also, the DDOS would probably cause my internet to be shut off...

The pool look like you have it set up for proportional payments. If you want people to mine until you have 40% of difficulty shares and then abandon your pool forever, that is a perfect strategy.

I would recommend that if you want miner interest when starting a pool, you pay PPS until you have enough hashrate that you can find a block on a regular basis. PPS of course requires you have at least 500 BTC in the bank due to variance; just one block in the 1% percentile and you could be paying out 250 BTC before you find a block.

I created an account (SvbKErMk1b8JQMfRGA3).

Code:
[15:17:06] Couldn't connect to server, retrying...
[15:17:21] Couldn't connect to server, retrying...
[15:17:36] Couldn't connect to server, retrying...
[15:17:51] Couldn't connect to server, retrying...
[15:18:06] Couldn't connect to server, retrying...
[15:18:21] Couldn't connect to server, retrying...
[0 Khash/s] [0 Accepted] [0 Rejected] [DISCONNECTED]

using both IP and domain name and either port. Running a pool on your Comcast cable is not going to be very tolerant of DDOS either. DDOSs take down 3x100mbit pool connections.

Okay, I see we got one new user on the site (thanks futjrn!) so that part of the site definitely works... unfortunately he didn't create a worker or test submitting shares, so the bounty is still up for grabs!

The domain should be live now, so please use http://limitedloot.org:8081 to access the site and point your miners at limitedloot.org:8332 .

I am offering a 0.02 BTC bounty to the first user who registers a worker, confirms they are receiving work, and have submitted at least 100 shares.

Hello, I am starting a new Bitcoin mining pool and I need some help in determining if the pool is running correctly. The backend seems to be working flawlessly . The frontend is having some issues but I am hoping that the payouts and everything is working.

Here's where you come in. I'm going to need some miners hashing on the pool to solve the first block and test payouts. If you'd like to help testing my pool I can guarantee that you will be paid once a block is solved even if I end up having to count the shares manually.

Until I get the domain set up you can find the pool at http://76.105.190.218:8081 and make sure to point your miner to the ip not the domain it tells you.

Thanks.
