Unfortunately, .db is a very broadly encompassing extension. There isn't a single format that a db file can be used with. We would need to know which program created them, or what kind of data they contain.

Or, you could send a sample, which I could try to decipher and write a parser for, but I would be charging hourly for that.

every one i have allots of files with .db extension .. i its seem like there are some of every important file .. i want them in read able format it could b excel or xml or any other .. So that i can read them and extract my important data from it..

its .db journal file  ..

Ok, from what database or software? A journal file contains only some data structures needed for a database; there should also be a bulk data storage file associated with it.

sms backed up file .. yeah i thnk the other file along with each backup is bulk data or may b som thing else

i have just installed "paradox " loosely speaking its fucking .. not working well ..
its screw man... and the file are really very important ..
Mhhh, then download Microsoft Access 2013, hope that that will do the trick.
