In your case, it would not appear to be a violation of the rules. So you can post two posts in a row without waiting for posts from other users.
Finallly!!! Thank you for the clarification. I can now post without any worries. Smiley

you can also put a disclaimer at the top of your post that there will be two parts of your post so you can clarify to anyone reading that you are not trying to break a forum rule.
Yes, I will surely add a disclaimer. Wink

I checked by hitting the quote button that there's an open url bbcode tag at the very end of the post, i put a close tag and hit the "Preview" button and it works. I just don't know if it will work if i hit the "Post" button instead.
Nothing wrong with the BBCodes, it broke when character limit reached and made the code incomplete. Tongue

Hey bro!

I have translated some long essays of GazetaBitcoin and unfortunately, I have faced similar issues. But before I post them in our local thread, I have created a dummy thread in the archival section to check everything. I did not get the exact error you are getting at this moment, but I was also unable to post the whole thread in a single post. I remember posting a single thread in three different posts due to the character limit. As Xal0lex already said, you are not going to violate the forum rules by posting in a row. So, don't worry about it.

Not your keys, not your coins!
There is uncompleted bbcode as the warning shows. You need to check your BBcode next time because I see a poster helped you to fix the bug already.

You can reference this Some suggestions if you want to use tables on Bitcointalk with many template table formats to use.

I got this problem a lot when I was not familiar with table and if you don't have a draft, you will have problems to check it or even lose what you are composing.

My practice is I copy the format like this one.
Code:
[table]
[tr]
[td][b]Column 1[/b][/td]
[td][b]Column 2[/b][/td]
[td][b]Column 3[/b][/td]
[td][b]Column 4[/b][/td]
[td][b]Column 5[/b][/td]
[td][b]Column 6[/b][/td]
[/tr]
[tr]
[td]_________________[/td]
[td]_________________[/td]
[td]_________________[/td]
[td]_________________[/td]
[td]_________________[/td]
[td]_________________[/td]
[/tr]
[tr]
[td]xxx[/td]
[td]xxx[/td]
[td]xxx[/td]
[td]xxx[/td]
[td]xxx[/td]
[td]xxx[/td]
[/tr]
[/table]

It is a template from 1miau but when I use it, I would like to use line breaks between rows. Line breaks will help me to check bug more easily. Like this, I use a line break between 2 rows.

Column 1Column 2Column 3Column 4Column 5Column 6
______________________________________________________________________________________________________
xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Code:
[table]
[tr]
[td][b]Column 1[/b][/td]
[td][b]Column 2[/b][/td]
[td][b]Column 3[/b][/td]
[td][b]Column 4[/b][/td]
[td][b]Column 5[/b][/td]
[td][b]Column 6[/b][/td]
[/tr]

[tr]
[td]_________________[/td]
[td]_________________[/td]
[td]_________________[/td]
[td]_________________[/td]
[td]_________________[/td]
[td]_________________[/td]
[/tr]

[tr]
[td]xxx[/td]
[td]xxx[/td]
[td]xxx[/td]
[td]xxx[/td]
[td]xxx[/td]
[td]xxx[/td][/tr]

[tr]
[td]xxx[/td]
[td]xxx[/td]
[td]xxx[/td]
[td]xxx[/td]
[td]xxx[/td]
[td]xxx[/td]

[/tr]
[/table]

Make sure you always save your post, to have different versions, if a newest one has bug, you can either check it and fix bug or return to a previous version if you can not find bug for fixing.

Normally in my local thread (not yet board), if we post multiple posts in a row, admin would just merge both posts. But in my case that won't be possible. And it's only logical that I post part 1 and part 2 in a row. I guess I'll have to talk with the admin for an exception or wait for some other guy to post, so that I can post my 2nd half of the topic.  Smiley
there you go, Xal0lex(a moderator on "Other languages/locations") gave you an answer. you can also put a disclaimer at the top of your post that there will be two parts of your post so you can clarify to anyone reading that you are not trying to break a forum rule.

In my opinion I simply suggest that as long as you are sure that the character limit is the issue, you should simply post the other parts of the op you can be able to section and make them as replies to the Op. Importantly you could possibly also add some form of hint to tell that it's a continuation of the op.

I think you need to go through the code for the table again probably you might have closed one which wasn’t opened or maybe there is a character added before open a table code like a space character before opening the table that has Also cause errors like this (signature codes).

Another invalid BBcode might be that the bytes are more than the limit, so I think you need to cut them into two

Yeah, that's what it is. Posts over 65535 bytes get cut off at 65535 bytes. If that makes the BBcode invalid in certain ways, then you get the INVALID BBCODE error.
Also, note that a byte is different from a character. Because SMF stores "special" characters in a particularly space-inefficient way, each Russian character uses about 6 bytes, and each line break also uses 6 bytes.

I know why I'm getting this error. The table is getting cut, because that's the part where character limit reaches max.

Yes there is character limit but to correct if you see in you last few lines at end there's table but there's no end tag for table

Fixing the code won't work, I have the fixed version. I have reached my max character limit. Yes, I have to make it as part 2. But thanks anyway.

Yes you have to divide the post in two in ports.

There is character limit, but to correct if you see in your last few lines at end there's table but there's no end tag for table

See below first line [ center ][ table ]

Code:

[center][table]
[tr][td][u]Name[/u]                      [/td][td][u]Knows as[/u]                                    [/td][td]   [u]Key file or Fingerprint[/u][/td][td]   [u]Ref[/u][/td][/tr]
[tr][td][url=https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=3]satoshi[/url][/td][td]Founder and Bitcoin Creator[/td][td][url=https://bitcointalk.org/Satoshi_Nakamoto.asc]   File[/url][/td][td]   [url=https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1159946.msg12221819#msg12221819]Source[/url][/td][/tr]
[tr][td][url=https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=35]theymos[/url][/td][td]Administrator of BitcoinTalk[/td][td][url=https://bitcointalk.org/theymos.asc]   File[/url][/td][td]   [url=http://https:

Just add [ / td ] [ / tr ] and [ / table ] and you should be able to post it.

Add post the remaining code (post) in the second part.

Op it's the normal character limit for an op for the forum. Some posts are like that. I have come across a couple of them on some certain boards that the posts were so long the Op had to split the thread into smaller sections using one of the sections as the thread and the others as reply. I really haven't made a post with that much amount of length. Probably the translation from the op made it more bulky after the translation process.

In my opinion I simply suggest that as long as you are sure that the character limit is the issue, you should simply post the other parts of the op you can be able to section and make them as replies to the Op. Hey there guys! I needed some help/suggestion regarding a problem I am facing.

So I was translating this topic [ENG Tutorial] PGP Signature - Encrypt/Decrypt message - Fingerprint by mdayonliner and Learn Bitcoin and after a certain part I am unable to post it as a single post. I think I have reached the max character limit or some kind of limitation. Also when I try to post it fully, I get this error below.

NOTE: I could however post the original English post in a single post. But when translating it into my language (Bangla), I couldn't. AFAIK the characters of "Bangla" language takes more space than English language. That's why OP could fit in a single post but not mine. The section which was getting cut caused the BBCode error, because it was missing some BBCodes, and since it's incomplete hence the error.

Here is the archive link where I was making the translation (Click on quote, open the whole BBCode and you'll understand everything):
1. https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.63986461

Here is the link to the part which is getting cut:
2. https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.64126864

Am I right so far? Is it character limitation? Is there any way to post it as a single topic or do I have to divide the topic into two parts?
