I tried restoring via electrum but it says invalid words which are listed in blockchain v3 legacy words. I don't have the wallet file to import. I have just the mnemonic, wallet id#/email/password but I do not remember the second password.

The words that blockchain used will not work with electrum or anything else.

At this point if you don't have the file that was created there is not much that can be done.

so basically any bitcoin I had in that wallet is gone forever because their system doesn't recognize their own v3 slip39 mnemonic words? there is absolutely nothing I can do at all besides short of guessing the 2nd password? you don't know of any legit companies that could be of help?

Did you their recovery?

https://login.blockchain.com/beta/legacy-pages/forgot-password.html

Without the actual wallet file itself I don't know of any services that would be able to do anything.

How about checking if the wallet has balance before you stress out any more about it?

I would look at debugging the blockchain.info script in chrome inspector and adding the additional mnemonics just to see if that works.

I don't have the wallet file, all I have is the login/password and mnemonic which works with v3 legacy words. Does BTC Recover not work unless you have the wallet file?

Blockchain wallets were their own thing back then their words are not standard so other wallets cannot use them to recover them.

If you follow the link I posted to btcrecover the 2nd bad password is a known issue.

https://btcrecover.readthedocs.io/en/latest/Decrypting_dumping_walletfiles/#blockchaincom-wallets-previously-known-as-%C2%A0%20blockchaininfo

But, in a lot of instances btcrecover will be able to get you the private keys.

I'm assuming you did, but did you try the blockchain.com import tool?

https://login.blockchain.com/beta/legacy-pages/import-wallet.html

-Dave

how do I use my private keys to generate a file to import the wallet and no I haven't tried any of this (don't really know how to).. Can I do this on an apple computer or do I need to do it on a windows? is there any instructional videos anywhere I could see on how to do this?

also the mnemonic is 20 words long. Most wallets are 12. Legacy blockchain is 20 and from the link I sent on wayback, all the words are there... I tried downloading blue wallet and putting the phrases in there but it says "wallet not found"

the words are on https://web.archive.org/web/20180406224820/https://blockchain.info/Resources/js/mnemonic/mnemonic_words_v3.txt

I have access to the email it's tied too but there is a second password after I login. So I put in normal login/password for wallet id # and it logs me in but prompts for a second password I don't remember and I've tried every variation I can think of.. should I try putting the words into electrum or maybe a different kind of wallet?

Okay so I found my 20 word mnemonic legacy code to my wallet, I also found the login/ password and wallet ID # in an old dropbox I had forgot about. So I goto try to login to my wallet, it prompts me for a second password which I don't remember. So I figure, the mnemonic will work surely. But no, it says 2 words are incorrect. Now, I go and do some digging on the internet and come across an archived website on the wayback of the complete list of words blockchain.info used back then website here (https://web.archive.org/web/20180406224820/https://blockchain.info/Resources/js/mnemonic/mnemonic_words_v3.txt) and surely enough, the words the site says are incorrect ARE ON THERE.

I am fairly sure I have a few btc in there. I just do not know what to do. Email support for that site SUCKS. Any clue on what I can do? any and all help is appreciated. Anyone who DM's me telling me they can help me crack it will be reported. Don't bother trying to scam me.

are you sure it's a password recovery mnemonic and not a wallet recovery seed phrase? see if it works with electrum?

Also wayback machine shows this older version of the file:
https://web.archive.org/web/20170228232746/https://blockchain.info/Resources/js/mnemonic/mnemonic.js?04bbd9df1ffbf28e

That could have the words you're looking for.

Are the words on the V2?

https://github.com/blockchain/unused-My-Wallet/blob/master/mnemonic.js

The list starts at line 320

If it's 'very old' (your words) it might predate V3

The problem with the V3 list is that it's stupid.
a and aa and aaa and aaaa
If you had 3 a's and only wrote down 2 or 4 well then you got nothing....

The entire point of the mnemonic list that the rest of the world uses is the fact that there is no ambiguity.

So, with that being said, did you create the blockchain.info account with an email address and do you still have access to it?

And did you take a look at BTCRecover?
