Well I ended up using the add2psu but I ended up needing more juice for the spike with a 1300W connected to a 1000W PSU. It is all powered on but now it is only showing 3 GPU's in the device manager. I have done almost everything I can to the bios to no avail so I am wondering if anyone is familiar with this motherboard?

*edit* I ended up getting it up and running through sheer luck of troubleshooting. My 6x 1080 TI rig is firing on all cylinders now.

I would try powering all of your risers and motherboard on the same power supply. Why did you not just go with a 1600w power supply?

Well one 1600W PSU would be cutting it close on the wattage and I don't think it would have all of the proper cords since I need 12 8 pin VGA cords for the rig.

That is what I figured since I am pretty damn sure I hooked everything up right. My first instinct was the "splitter cable" since half of the system powered on. So it is safe to assume add2psu would do the trick?

The cable that you purchased isn't really a full "splitter cable", rather, it has an extra branch that goes off and allows the secondary PSU to connect to the motherboard only for an indication that the PSU needs to be on. You could simulate this by using a paper clip to short the green pin on the PSU's main 20/24 pin motherboard connector to one of the black grounds. The important distinction here is that the motherboard's 20/24 pin connection is to the primary PSU, and it doesn't really receive power from the secondary PSU. That cable just allows you to turn them on simultaneously using the power switch;you're still responsible for splitting the load appropriately.

If you want to eliminate that cable as the issue, you could remove it and instead short the appropriate pins on the secondary PSU, then attempt to boot. (Ensure the secondary PSU is already running before you attempt to boot.)

I own 2 6 1080Ti mining rigs and you need a 1200w and an 850w to make it work. What PSU connect do you have? I use the Add2PSU.

My build is listed below and it is the first time I am doing a build with these components together. Previously, I have only put together AMD rigs which in comparison seem much easier due to more DIY documentation among other things. I have assembled the rig properly to the best of my knowledge but this build was far different mainly because of the dual power supplies. 3 of the GPU's do not seem to turn on and the 3 system fans also do not turn on. I plugged the 3 case fans into the 4 pin system fan slot next to the CPU fan slot on the motherboard and it is also connected by one of the Perif cables from the PSU. I at first thought that it was the mobo splitter cable that I used to connect the two power supplies to the motherboard but I'm still not sure. I believed that it was supposed to power up each of the PSU's at the exact time but maybe I was wrong. The odd thing is that the CPU fan turns on but that could be powered by the PSU that does seem to be functioning. I have 3 of the 1080 TI's on one PSU and 3 PSU's, fans, CPU, and SSD power on the other PSU. The one that isn't functioning is the one that has more things connected but my calculations say it should be fine. Anyways, this seems long but any help on this would be greatly appreciated.

*edit* Should I just use add2PSU? Does anyone have any experience with that product?
