Hi guys i need help with nicehash miner, the older version used to run very well on my w7 version but after i updated miner to latest version it stop running, it won't launch or give any response at all, any help will be appreciate
Few things you can do,
Simplest is just to use the old version that worked before. There are probably no performance increases with the new version, especially if you are mining ETH.
Another method is just to mine with different software. Download ETH miners like Claymore ETH miner and set it up yourself and use Nicehash as your pool and you will be paid the same way. Not that difficult to set up.
Third is what everybody suggested, it was most likely flagged and most AV just auto-remove it without even telling you sometimes. Add it to the non-restricted list and see if it works. Strange why the old version wasn't detected but the new one was.
