ok jack jack, the issue is now solved. out of the 14 addresses i imported only 7 show up. it turns up i had never made any transactions with the others and didn't enter a label when i imported them. i retained all of my balance though. upon rescanning, it found all 7 addresses. it only picked up 3 of them though but i manually added the other 4 simply by giving them labels in the transaction history menu. restarted qt and all 7 addresses are still there. thanks again!

I figured it out. The problem is in input format, file should contain key;label, not just key
Do you think I should clearly write the format instead of showing it while hovering?

oh cool. as far as i can tell my addresses are there because when i dump in pywallet they show up, they just arent recognized because i imported them and the blockchain hasn't finished dl'ing yet. my addresses are all less than a few months old and i'm still behind nearly a year on the blockchain. maybe tomorrow it will all be dl'd and i will se if they show up then.
Do you see them in the corresponding tab in bitcoin-qt?

well, today i'm behind 4 weeks on the blockchain. so far two addresses have showed up in the recieve tab where it shows your addresses. when the blockchain finishes dl'ing, i will rescan again and see whats changed. i really hope this works because after i imported my private keys from electrum i deleted electrum and all of its files from AppData. got my fingers crossed.
If they are shown in bitcoin-qt you are safe
again, i imported over 14 addresses. 4 from blockchain two from strongcoin and 6 or 7 from electrum. all the transactions of each address are showing up but only two of the addresses are showing up to this point. probably need to rescan once it finishes downloading. i'm at 3 weeks behind so if all goes as planned it should be resolved within an hour or two. i appreciate your assistance jack jack, and commend you for your efforts in bringing us Pywallet. it really saved my butt, because i sent a .45 transaction from my blockchain to my offline electrum wallet and it sent without a fee and kept sitting as uncomfirmed. i think Pywallet solved it and if i encounter any problems i will let you know. thanks!

Hi,
I have installed this thing. It runs the wallet from the default location. Windows.
It reports success when importing private keys.
But a) I can not see them when open wallet with wallet-qt, and
b) When I use pywallet to DUMP, keys are not there either.
Any suggestions?
